Hi, everyone, and welcome back to That UFO Podcast. My name is Andy, and I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas. And depending on when you're listening to this, a happy new year when it indeed comes. I've been a little bit ill, as of course I always am, over the December period. Lots of young kids in the house, and it's been a bug fest. Loads of germs. So I've not managed to get all the content out I planned on. But I'm going to make up for that from now, you're going to have probably five or six shows. And I've got bonus content, too, amongst that, coming out over the next seven to ten days. You're going to get interviews with Matt Ford from The Good Trouble Show and James Fox, director, plus a review of James Fox's latest film, Moment of Contact, New Revelations. There'll be an end-of-year show, and I've got Dan joining me for the first time in a while to go over the year that was 2025 and look forward, along with an AMA, Ask Me Anything. And there's still time to get questions in for Matt, for James, for the AMA, and for the end-of-year show with Dan. So please email ufoupodcast.com, link is in the description, or go to thatufopodcast.com forward slash contact. And you can contact me there, too. Got so much already for all of those. Lots of great content to come. And when you're listening to this, I am on the 28th of December at 10pm Pacific time, or the 29th of December, 6am UK time, looking forward to that morning. I'm going to be getting up early to be on Coast to Coast AM. I'm going to be the guest for George Knapp, along with Jeremy Corbell, and I'm really looking forward to getting to make my debut on Coast to Coast. But for now, something a little bit different. And although, still very much UFO phenomenon adjacent, this is your first bonus show. It's a documentary review, and I'm reviewing American Sasquatch, Man, Myth, or Monster. The documentary comes from Lab 9 Films, an independent production and distribution company that's become increasingly well-known in recent years for its work in the UFO, paranormal, and unexplained documentary space. Lab 9 has been involved in a number of recent digital first releases, including projects connected to James Fox's The Programme. They tend to focus on interview-driven films aimed at audiences already engaged with these subjects. So again, I think these could be good for newbies, but also pretty good for folks who are well-entrenched in the topic. The film is directed by Gabe Torres, whose previous work includes Netflix's Unsolved Mysteries. It's created and executive produced by David Polides, a former police detective best known for his missing 411 book and documentary series, including a film released within the last 18 months. I reviewed it that focuses on cases of potential disappearances and abductions in US national parks and beyond. Exec producer Henry Marks also worked on James Fox's The Programme, and you've got production handled by Jim Martin and Philip Latham, both of whom have been involved in the previous missing 411-related projects. Now, what initially drew me to this documentary, and remember folks, I did see a few months ago, and it's something that people have asked me to do for years, and I've touched on now and again, was go outside the UFO comfort zone a little bit, and I've touched on it now and again. Remote viewing, I think, does that, and there are links there, but not always directly. And this podcast isn't going to become a true crime or a ghost podcast or anything like that. But now and again, I'll dip my toe in waters, maybe slightly UFO adjacent, and please get in touch with anything you'd like to hear. But what drew me to this documentary was the names attached to it, as well as the kind of Bigfoot UFO connections. And one of the very first voices we hear is very familiar to you in the UFO world now, Congressman Tim Burchett, who immediately sets a particular tone, and we'll get to that in a few moments. Throughout the documentary, we hear from a range of contributors, including Dave Palaides himself, Scott Carpenter, who we find out at the end sadly passed away two weeks after it finished filming. So, you know, that's such a shame. But yeah, as it says, not to spoil the ending, it's a little touching piece for Scott, but, you know, he has all the answers now. You know, God bless him. Mike Freeman, Stan Gordon, Barb Shoup, Harvey Pratt, Joe Houser, Ellie Marzulli, a name you'll be familiar with, Ron Moorhead, and a number of others. The film also includes credentialed researchers, such as Colm, Kelleher, and Robert Alley, alongside Scott Nelson, Tom Pibble, Tom Seward, and Jonathan Dover. So names, if you are into that cryptid scene and Bigfoot scene, Sasquatch scene, you might be familiar with. Colm Kelleher, of course, Ellie Marzulli's a name you'll probably know, David Palaides, and Stan Gordon, all involved in the UFO topic to different degrees too. According to the filmmakers, American Sasquatch, Man, Myth, or Monster, available on Amazon Prime, folks, if you want to check it out, and I'll give you my thoughts right at the very end, it positions itself as an investigation into the Sasquatch phenomenon, blending eyewitness testimony with scientific ideas ranging from DNA analysis to concepts drawn from quantum physics, with the aim of exploring whether Sasquatch should be understood as folklore, misidentification, or something that remains unexplained. And very, very similar, isn't it, to the UFO phenomenon. And throughout the documentary, folks, I've tried my best to compare and contrast the topics as I go along as well. And with that context and introduction, let's get into the review itself. So right away, we see Tim Burchett straight away, in a more casual way than we're used to seeing, out of his suit and tie, no DC backdrop. He's in a farmhouse, I'm guessing his own barn, part of his homestead. We hear snippets of witnesses talking about the history of Sasquatch, Bigfoot, etc. And I'm going to use those terms interchangeably. As much as it's called American Sasquatch, the term Sasquatch isn't used too often during the documentary. Usually it's Bigfoot, I suppose, similar to calling something a UAP documentary, but seeing UFO constantly. But they're interchangeable. And different tribes and groups that have their own versions of these entities. Early on, we hear, we can get a Bigfoot sighting and then a UFO sighting. And that's not uncommon. And that's something I'll get to when I go through listener thoughts at the end. And there is a lot of them. Some reviewing the documentary and others just giving their thoughts. So the intro is a good mix of real photographs, video and some recreations. And we are warned fairly at the beginning, there are recreations used within this. In the absence of real footage, I didn't mind that. They were pretty short and sweet. That's CGI, AI. And it does label it really clearly when they are CGI, which is totally fair. They don't take away, they add, if anything. So it's not distracting. So to start off, David Palaides has introduced, founder of North American Bigfoot Search. He talks about what Bigfoot could be. A physical being, a manifestation, something more spiritual. And this is something that comes up throughout the documentary, of course. Personally, I'm more of the thinking when it comes to Bigfoot. And it's something I'm interested in, in the same way Nessie, you know, Loch Ness Monster, all that kind of stuff as well. It's more of a physical creature than anything. But I wonder, is this documentary going to change my mind or give me some food for thought? And I'll let you know at the end. We hear from a gent called Michael Freeman who is introduced as Paul Freeman's son. Personally, not familiar with the Freemans, but then we see some footage that was taken by Paul, Michael's father, which they compare to the famous Patterson-Gimlin footage that even if you are not into the Bigfoot topic, folks, you will almost definitely, at some point, have seen the Patterson-Gimlin footage. For those unfamiliar, the Patterson-Gimlin footage is a short piece of 16mm film shot in 1967 at Bluff Creek, Northern California by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin. So it appears to show a large, upright, hairy, covered figure, later nicknamed Patty, walking across a creek bed before briefly turning its head to look back at the camera, a moment that has become quite iconic. And again, you're probably recreating this in your head if you remember the footage. The clip, at last under one minute, is widely regarded as the most famous and heavily analysed visual evidence associated with Sasquatch or Bigfoot. Supporters argue the footage shows non-human, like a non-human gait, the stride, the way they walk, unusual body proportions, you know, visible muscle movements beneath the hair, while sceptics maintain it depicts a human in a costume really simply, pointing to Patterson's possible motives and the feasibility of suits at the time, you know, late 60s, it was possible. Despite decades of analysis, enhancement, and debate by scientists, filmmakers, and sceptics, the footage has never been conclusively proven authentic or a hoax and I'm comfortable with that, I don't mind that, and it remains a central reference point in discussions of the Bigfoot-Sasquatch phenomenon. I'd love to know your thoughts on that particular footage as well, folks. Anyways, yeah, getting on with the review. Researcher MK Davis talks about how he got into the topic seeing the Patterson-Gimlin footage. I imagine it's the beginning of this topic for a lot of researchers, similar to watching a Bob Lazar documentary or a Stephen Greer documentary or a Jeremy Corbell documentary about Skinwalker Ranch and getting into UFOs and finding your way from there. I think a lot of folks see that Patterson-Gimlin footage online, in books, magazines, whatever it might be, and they go, oh wow, that's pretty cool, and they go into the topic from that point. So it's a real launchpad, probably the launchpad for the UFO topic. I think the footage is pretty interesting, but I appreciate inconclusive. I mean, if I'm going to go out there, folks, and, you know, put my opinion on the line, I will lean slightly towards it being genuine. You know, some of you are probably rolling your eyes here, going, oh, for fuck's sake, Andy. Others might be going, fair play. But yeah, I, yeah, it looks, I want it to be genuine. Of course I want it to be genuine. Palaides mentions a few options are on the table of what this creature could be. So I'm going to try and not butcher this. The most common idea is it's a Gigantopo, oh, for fuck's sake, Gigantopithecus, Gigantopoth, I'm usually quite good at pronouncing this stuff. Gigantopithecus, that'll be it. Gigantopithecus, oh, yeah, that one. And it seems to be the most common. If I, if it wasn't bonus content, folks, and it was late in the year, and it's a long day ahead for me, I would cut this out. But you're going to hear that in there. It's a belief to be have been native to Asia around 300,000 years ago or a philanthropist, much easier, with a history in Africa seen as a potential late surviving ancestry of ours. David Palaides says then, you know, others believe it could be multidimensional. That's where we, you know, that's where some of you are really going to get involved now. As a sidebar, I love that it was included, the Bigfoot, and Tom DeLonge's Monsters in California. You'll often see me wearing that orange hoodie on the podcast, folks, with the Monsters in California logo. It's got the Bigfoot on there as well. It's part of that film. It's real cheesy. Me and Dan reviewed it back when it came out. Go and check that one out. It's a fun review. And if you've not checked out that movie, you should do. I really think you should. And speaking of hoodies, go buy a That UFO Podcast hoodie for yourself if you've got some Christmas money left over at thatufopodcast.com forward slash store. Shut up, Andy, and let's get on with the review. We hear some audio and I think this was pretty cool. We hear some audio believed to be of a Sasquatch recorded, a really odd sound, could be anything, not sure of the background, but we do get a little bit more on that as the documentary goes through. We get a little bit of the history of the topic, you know, much like the UFO topic, a lot of folks would say, well, it started with Roswell, the 1940s, you know, some would say it goes back to the Foo Fighters of World War I, others would say it goes, and Graham Rendell, big shout out, if you're into the history of this topic, Graham Rendell's books are second to none, go and check those out on Amazon. Others would say it goes back centuries, goes back millennia. The Bigfoot phenomenon is the same, according to David Palaides, he found articles going back referencing these creatures to the 1600s, talks about Native Americans having a long history dealing with these creatures. We see some film from a documentary that accidentally picked up something that could be a Bigfoot in the background and I was really worried about this for a second and pleasantly surprised. When they viewed it from the YouTube link, it's a little bit fuzzy because of the whole YouTube pixelation and whatnot. They then get a hold of the IMAX footage, the 4K, really good quality and immediately I could see it was just a person. You can even pick out the sunglasses on their head, okay? They're in a weird place to be fair but I think it's being filmed for a documentary totally unrelated to Bigfoot and they picked this up in the background but I was very glad to say David Palaides says, you know, this wasn't a Bigfoot. We can see it's a person out there in the field really, really clearly it's a person, folks. No debating that. I don't know if they were there to startle a herd of, you know, running animals that are in the particular piece of footage but Palaides uses it to say, you know, it's not passed off as sensational. It's the importance of clear footage and when something is clear being able to not even debunk it and just say what it is and that it's not a hoax being pushed. That it was a person caught on there. Initially people thought it was a Bigfoot. They got the clear footage, draw a line under it, move on. Excellent stuff. I like that being included. I think that's really important and it adds a sense of credibility to me. It's interesting and I would love to see more of that in the UFO topic for me that if something is shown to be non-human initially or anomalous and then shown, proven to be a drone or a misidentification or a normal aircraft, come out and say that. It shouldn't harm a researcher's credibility or an influencer or a podcaster or whatever you want to call yourself. I don't care. But if you've presented something and it turns out to not be genuine, just own it and say, here, we thought it was this, we've done the research and now we've found out it's not. Move on. That shouldn't harm you. It shouldn't cancel you. It should add authenticity. For me, it goes the other way. If you don't own up to not even mistakes but just misidentifications once you know what they are, that shouldn't harm your credibility. Again, that's just my opinion and how you probably know if you've listened to this for any length of time how I approach the UFO topic. So it was interesting to see different researchers in this documentary present their opinions and how for me it mirrored the UFO topic. Some are adamant this is a flesh and blood creature, undiscovered wildlife, perfectly normal and natural habitat to this planet. Others say they can materialise, use portals to travel and other kind of such worldly ways of manifesting themselves and we get to that a little bit later on around our mark. Congressman Tim Burchett says he believes Bigfoot is real and out there. Too many people have seen something. Fair comment, not overly sensationalised at all. Here's something I thought at this point folks. Isn't it amazing in 2025 going into 2026 and you're probably listening many of you to this as we go into 2026 that we have congressmen in the United States, congresswomen in the US, senators, Secretary of State Marco Rubio and others talking so openly not only about UFOs but on Bigfoot documentaries and I wonder listening to this or watching this do you think that's a good thing or is it a negative? Definitely let me know either way. Comment below if you're on YouTube and such or if you're on Spotify Premium. Hi to everyone who subscribes over on Spotify Premium and if you type in that UFO podcast Premium you get a separate feed on Spotify. I'm going to say it's a good thing. I don't think many would have believed that decades ago things would have gone this way. You know then again there's a lot of things going on in the world of politics that I don't think even seem real anymore and that's across the globe. Okay? Not picking out any particular country there. At this point I'd like to add it's a beautifully filmed documentary. Some of the backdrops are stunning real high quality. Watch it in 4K if you can. Around 22 minutes in we hear from a witness who says her dogs were crying or whimpering outside so this is the first kind of real meaty testimony and she could hear footsteps on the gravel outside. Her husband was working the late shift so maybe it was him returning home early. She went downstairs and sees the door handle rattling and the door opens and a huge tall hairy creature not her husband is standing there. She mentions an awful smell like dead animals. She says it turned round darted off the porch and pretty scary testimony but I think that's something that you'll have to decide yourself how do you feel about testimony whether it's UFOs Bigfoot anything else so much of these topics are testimony but I think it was was it George Knapp or someone else I spoke to and they made the point that testimony can send a person to death based on testimony in a court of law that can be the evidence that sends someone to the chair or to be hung or lethal injection or whatever it might be and has done in the past so testimony is powerful some of the best evidence I've seen before and during this documentary are some of the footprints and castings that are found human-like but huge on one occasion in this documentary the footprint's 21 inches with a 5 foot stride so they can work out the stride between often these footprints and tracks just mysteriously stop when they shouldn't there should be more and they disappear with no apparent reason you are more than just a heart patient at Trinity Health of New England we get to know you which can help us diagnose a problem and start treatment faster our cardiovascular team offers the latest imaging and device technology testing and surgical procedures you'd expect from a national health system with the personal touch you want from local experts we know the importance of seeing the person behind the patient because we see all of you learning a business is hard enough so why make it harder with a dozen different apps that don't talk to each other one for sales another for inventory a separate one for accounting before you know it you're drowning in software instead of growing your business this is where Odoo comes in Odoo is the only business software you'll ever need it's an all-in-one fully integrated platform that handles everything CRM accounting inventory e-commerce HR and more no more app overload no more juggling logins just one seamless system that makes work easier and the best part Odoo replaces multiple expensive platforms for a fraction of the cost it's built to grow with your business whether you are just starting out or already scaling up plus it's easy to use customizable and designed to streamline every process so you can focus on what really matters running your business thousands of businesses have made the switch so why not you try Odoo for free at Odoo.com that's O-D-O-O dot com another woman Angela gives testimony she says she once woke up to a set of eyes staring through her window glowing yellow and if they were standing on the ground outside they show the measurement nice little bit of visual reference in here from David Pallides to show it would be 8.5 8.5 feet in height from the ground to her window with the eyes being six inches above the windowsill that's enough for some folks in terms of testimony but for others it's not but yeah it's not testimony heavy in this documentary which I was glad of because it can get to the point you are just hearing story after story after story we see some footage throughout the documentary of objects looking camouflaged in the woods or forest very similar to if you've seen the Predator movies how the Predator alien looks when it's invisible you know that kind of blurry you can see the background but you can see some things there that isn't there it's pretty intriguing but I'm sure there's a host of explanations that come along with it of course but with the cameras used that kind of shaky video cam very Blair Witch looking it does look at least as like something is there but not completely clear some of them I thought were pretty spurious you know there was one they talk about a potential white Sasquatch in the distance and again I've only watched it once I've not went back to watch it I couldn't there was something maybe but to say it's a white Sasquatch I mean I don't I don't know on that could it be something you know for me in terms of the camouflage something's evolved to the point it can hide itself using a really really advanced form of camouflage you know there's animals and insects that can do that in the world we know of so why not something a bit bigger and more intelligent we move on to a little bit around the language of these creatures we hear from Scott Nelson who is retired US Navy he is an expert in deciphering language he says off the bat he was never a Bigfoot guy it was his young son who asked him to help on a Bigfoot report I think for school he was 12 years old and it was in looking through some clips of alleged Bigfoot audio he clicked onto that they weren't random noises to him this is a guy with decades of deciphering language and code he could hear there was language in these clips not only language but there was a human quality to the language so yeah good stuff I like that in this there's some chatter around having caught Bigfoot coming through portals I'm not impressed or blown away like I say by that video we see another one it's very difficult to make out any detail at all I know UFOs is one thing with the whole night time footage and dark and points of light but these are like daylight daytime footage daytime filmings daytime filmings for the love of god I think if you gave the footage to the average person and asked them you know what's in this video one of them is like a guy walking along a path and you can see that typical forest scene behind them woodland path I don't think one in a hundred people would see a portal opening up and Bigfoot coming through that's just me though I don't know if you get to watch the documentary I'd love to know your thoughts and the more interesting aspects of it I thought most of the video in that sense was lacking the Freeman stuff was good and so was the Gimlin Patterson footage but the portal stuff doesn't blow me away it really doesn't there's a segment around trying to track or trap a Bigfoot not capture them but try and get samples of hair using bacon grease the idea that they would smear it on a tree and that the creatures would lick it off and getting so close it would capture chest hair and they are successful in getting something they show samples compared to human hair and the differences and it certainly looks different they talk about the mitochondrial DNA coming back as human David Polides saying they came to the conclusion it was a mix of human and unknown it couldn't be explained even when using massive DNA data banks David Polides says the argument against the project and I like that they included this was that the DNA was contaminated by one of the researchers Polides says if that was the case then there would be markers to show for example if he contaminated it that it was Greek human not unknown and we see L.A. Marzulli and others talk about the results at this point folks I would have liked to have seen some totally neutral folks on at this point to give an alternative idea some different theories just to level the playing field similar to the UFO topic I think that would add strength and credibility to get some folks on who who maybe want to debunk but end up giving an opinion or option to say either way it needs more study I'm not entirely sure I think that would help in anything like this I suppose the evidence could be seen similar to the arguments around the Nazca mummies which are still you know they're not going away if there would be more scientists involved and openly involved that would really help I'd say for me we're getting to around our mark now of the documentary two thirds of the way through and it's not becoming repetitive there was a section here where I thought we're going back to the same themes in commentary and testimony but it very quickly changed in a good way for me so David Palaides mentions NIDS the National Institute for Discovery Science of course set up by Robert Bigelow Skinwalker Ranch Study comes into focus here and what's happened since there's a natural tie-in with the you know and it's refreshing to see Colm Kelleher introduced Colm Kelleher who has written books on Skinwalker Ranch with George Knapp he's been in documentaries on Skinwalker Ranch I've hosted Colm Kelleher on this podcast multiple times and raised my interest levels as soon as I saw him and it was a really good time to bring him in I'm a big fan of Colm he's a gentleman he always has been to me and I appreciate his take and conversation it's also good timing by the director and production team to bring in a fresh voice and face here so good stuff by them again thumbs up again we hear a story from Colm about security officers based on Skinwalker Ranch who had come across a Bigfoot on the ranch which was spotted by a security dog the officer mentioned first that awful smell again rotting animals saw the creature less than 60 feet away and it ran off again a few days later more security officers driving in the ranch saw a Bigfoot off the road looking like it was eating something at the side of the road we see a little CGI recreation it then runs off as they get out the car to approach and the most interesting testimony for me you may be familiar with was on the ranch one guy using night vision binoculars could see a portal opening during the night obviously because otherwise why use night vision goggles but the person with him couldn't see the same thing without the goggles he says through the night vision goggles he could see a large human type crawling out or emerging from a portal and heading off into the night really interesting again testimony based but I like the story Colm talks about the tie-in with the UFO phenomenon sightings various sightings and Bigfoot and other paranormal phenomena being related he calls it a paranormal Disneyland perhaps you know one of the UFO one UFO or one creature like this being in an area sets off a chain reaction of paranormal activity maybe the area itself needs certain conditions electromagnetic sensitivity something like that and if one is there there's that chain reaction sets off I don't know the last part of the documentary gives some more witnesses and testimony Tim Burchett mentioned secrecy around some of the national parks that some folks don't want you to know I could well imagine that and if you've not watched David Polides missing 411 on the UFO abduction phenomenon really interesting stuff in there as well go and check that one out if you haven't already again I did review that back a year or so ago about 18 months ago I remember I watched that documentary on my laptop or my iPad at the time when I was waiting for my car to get fixed so yeah there you go it looks at incidents like the look at incidents sorry like the Terry Lovelace abduction out National Park you know National Forests really huge open spaces lots of tree cover lots of interesting things happen in these areas lots of interesting reports of various phenomena lots of military you know activity happen in these area I think for obvious reasons as well not just paranormal or you know yeah UFO related stuff it makes sense to have stuff out in these areas but yeah I was a bit wary of the argument they have at this point towards the end around the lack of trail cameras picking up on Bigfoot because they recognize the technology I think there's a researcher on is Adam Davies I believe the English guy and he talks about you know I've documented every single animal species using trail cams except a Bigfoot to be fair though me at that point you're going to get some skeptics or non-believers or your average Joe watching this who are going to say well that's because it doesn't exist then clearly I think you have to strengthen that argument up a little bit don't you and surely trail cams are hidden anyway and shrubs and bushes and things like that they're not just sitting a camera on a tripod out in the open maybe you could argue the same then for the UFO topic but these creatures aren't flying in the sky they're they are on the ground you know as far as I know I've not heard of a flying Bigfoot at this point but there's a nice little open-minded wrap-up asking for more open-mindedness more more outside the box thinking when it comes to approaching the Bigfoot topic and that does it folks for that review does this documentary leave me desperate to know more I would say no more than I originally was interested in it I'm still interested in the Bigfoot topic as an aside do I see connection with Bigfoot like entities or entities and the UFO topic yeah I think so I think that's fair but it's a good watch and at just over 90 minutes it's pretty good time-wise if you've got you know 90 minutes spare over this Christmas New Year period into January February things are a bit cold you're under the weather I think you could do a lot worse than throw this on in the background it's not heavy it's not heavy going there's no long boring sequences or monologues it's pretty fast paced it keeps you interested and I think yeah the pacing for me is pretty spot-on so yeah I enjoyed it I like that 90 minute time time slot so over to you the listeners and your thoughts and just before I read these I would love to hear from you if you're listening or watching on any topics that you would like to hear me discuss on this podcast whether myself or with a guest that are UFO adjacent that you'd like to hear covered in the coming year I am 100% getting round to my Antarctica episode definitely any suggestions for guests for that one reach out to me I know some of you have in the past but please let me know that one yeah going a little bit more out there but listen let's go over to the comments starting off with the folks on Patreon Beth says I know Sasquatch is real in the 70s camping on least land close to Mount Shasta we were run off the mountain because a family of Sasquatch were on the move and they were causing trouble because some jerk attacked them the forest service would not tell us that is why we were run out but we found out when we got into town I also believe Dr Malmstrom who just passed away so thanks for that Beth Jean also got in touch over on Patreon saying I live in British Columbia home of the most home of the most sightings of Sasquatch and the second highest number of UFO sightings in Canada really interesting Jean she says is that a coincidence perhaps but perhaps it's an indication of a link between the two phenomena Sourkraut said I definitely think there's something going on there are too many corroborating eyewitnesses accounts through history throughout history and all over the world just like with the UAP phenomenon I don't think they're an earthly animal because of their elusiveness and they don't leave as many physical traces that's something mentioned in the documentary the scat which is their their shit carcasses and whatnot yeah you're dead Bigfoot you know where are they as even the reddest of animals on this planet the fact that people sometimes see UFOs what appears to be cloaking weird gliding movement disappearing tracks glowing eyes aren't eye shine implies that this creature might be from another place perhaps entering and leaving via a portal of some kind however I found Sasquatch Among Wild Men to be a much more scientific and compelling documentary than American Sasquatch would recommend it more to people new to the topic thank you for that Sourkraut Liam says as ridiculous as it sounds I've listened to enough credible stories to know that there is a there there I've even had my own weird encounter in Canada heading to a lake to camp excuse me I asked myself though why they wouldn't be everywhere but then I reminded myself that animals concentrate in different countries now so why would perhaps interdimensional animal be any different yeah that interdimensional migration is discussed in the documentary interesting concept also seems ridiculous to say interdimensional but I guess that's what we've come to when we can't explain something that seems to come in and out of our reality generally I think there's more to life them you have been involved to see or understand is out there I believe it's real but I have no idea what it is much like the UFO topic you are more than just a heart patient at Trinity Health mobile app nick says there are similarities across big foot stories that aren't often covered these patterns make me think big foot isn't a flesh and bone creature as much as a poltergeist phenomenon for example many big foot sightings also include orbs and even a woman in a white dress it actually starts to sound very similar to the ufo phenomenon and even the woman in the dress is suggested of the sofia or lady figure from a number of ufo experience accounts on that note folks i have to give a shout out to my postie phil who i hope is listening because he is not only into the ufo topic and is now a fan of the podcast but also is into the whole cryptid thing he was telling me the other day so if you're on your morning route phil hello and yeah thanks for the post chaos walrus said i absolutely love the sasquatch legends or stories well i don't personally believe that it's definitely true i believe that it's possible i like that thinking i like the idea that i think i remember joe rogan talked about that leans into the multiverse and or other planes of existence theory there are places where realities or realms meet or intersect and sometimes in these places you can see things that are both there and also not quite i am of that thinking folks around the ghost phenomena as well i wonder if a lot of that is that mixing or crossing over whether it's an emotional thing or a traumatic experience that idea that someone's had a traumatic death and a really you know strange place that that's why that phenomenon happens and they're there but they're not there it's a signal you know something weird like that you know a little bit like when you're you're watching an old actually we don't do this anymore folks but remember vhs videotapes when you would record something but then record over it and record over it again and sometimes you would see the old show bleed through in the background maybe we're just seeing the old show bleed through in the background and maybe a view into sorry the listener chaos walrus continues a view into another dimension so to speak and that's why the sasquatch appear and disappear so quickly as they are not always there or entirely there not that i believe any of this is definitely true but i find it to be a fascinating theory the elliot says if you've been lucky enough to have an experience with the big hairy guys you know it's not like encountering a form of wildlife it's much more bizarre and unexplainable could there be a connection to uap sure there's some evidence for that they both fall into the we have no solid understanding category i believe that when we do start understanding both topic topics it will require a totally new outlook on reality so many more comments here folks still to go through thank you to everyone who got in touch jimbo says it's a well-done documentary david palides as a solid investigator has missing 411 series about people going missing in national forests is very good i think sasquatch and ufos are related in some way but we don't know what that is they're often seen together and they both seem to be in complete control of when sightings occur and also when they don't want to be seen same for both the documentary brings out the high strangeness associated with sasquatch and we know that all too well in regards to ufos i do think that this is an instance when science has hurt our relationship and knowledge of this listening to the native americans they obviously have a much deeper understanding i doubt many academic researchers would lend much credit to what they can contribute linden said it's related we people are key to all being related it's about belief aka intent grantlers excellent documentary adds focus on the interdimensional aspects versus just the usual curious about the relationships with nhiuep i would like to see that explode a little bit more in this documentary but obviously i would nuclear dna results were most telling and debunked the rationally sloppy dna debunkers um otta wasabi said i reproached with skepticism as i've always considered it a fringe topic but was impressed with the documentary i liked how explicit they were and differentiating actual footage and reenactments yeah i was i was happy with that the dna analysis intrigued me i paused the screen to read the entire pages and not just the highlighted sentences looking to see if the cherry-picked data that doesn't seem to be the case but there seems to be controversy around the dna something they mentioned in the doc so andy could you dig into that in your podcast i think it'd be helpful i've kind of touched on that previously and the dna piece there um i don't know what more to say on on that um i would have liked to have seen another analysis another analyst on there discussing it because they were all bigfoot friendly analysts so yeah um but anyone who can help us out with a little bit more on that would be great last couple on here folks kieran kenny says always found at nine possible to take seriously like the uap topic as per the topic though an open mind is never wasted so let's go phoenix totem said they were impressed by it having been following dave and 411 for a few years this did not disappoint mr technical said they are related that's the reason nobody has ever found so much as a bone of sasquatch despite thousands of sightings there are also reports of sasquatch being in and coming out of ufos north americans regalas with tales of sasquatch coming out of a moon cloaking could also be some form of technology but that's a bit more speculative yeah i think i struggle with the sasquatch bigfoot stuff when you start to bring in them using technology given they're running about naked or in the buff as we would say in scotland um they don't seem to carry any technology yeah i don't i struggle more with the technological side of it rather than the the wildlife side of it but you don't know um tree blind thrice and yes i said that properly great name nothing new he said it all before short and sweet and i am reading out all reviews here folks i'm not just going to be one-sided ginger hipster another cool name said crypto terrestrials can't be properly considered unless you're open to the existence of an undiscovered medium of travel and communication related to consciousness there's more going on than what mainstream science and the physicist paradigm make room for but what's going on doesn't align with what the status quo will permit so it can't be discussed as science only as entertainment consciousness is part of culture and physical forms are antennas reality is not purely physical listen as we've heard from matthew brown dylan borland jeff nusatelli reality is classified we're told there's no room to properly explore what's actually plausible or happening we're all suffering because of it good point ginger hipster and a little somber but good point and ness main said you could argue stuff like this is hurting the uap disclosure credibility that's my take totally fair i'm more than happy to include that comment as well um kyle lopp said and here we go folks it was utter horseshit incredibly amateurish with awful editing and poor sound i don't agree with that kyle but maybe that's just me maybe you've got a sound background um it gave little to no evidence for bigfoot let alone a portal hopping bigfoot i misrepresent misrepresented dna data which has been completely debunked and included footage of known hoaxers todd standing torpedoed any credibility palidas had left and questions now need to be asked about what he does and doesn't include in his 411 videos so yeah there you go kyle you you follow this a lot closer than i do and again like i say folks i'm not cherry picking comments i'm including everyone's opinion uh we'll finish off with dave smethers and i'm just going to say dave put in quite a lot as he normally does um but i'm going to give you just his thoughts on the documentary so thank you dave he says i thought the documentary was well done and mixing some core subject history oh and just to add dave is a big cryptid guy yeah so yeah he knows his stuff on this and mixing some core subject history and new stuff and managed to flesh out the two different schools i thought buying large i thought the people interviewed were very good and knowledgeable i have seen the white haired woman before on other shows and i think she's not as credible just via the way she seems to over humanize bigfoot um they write uh they have caught they write to her they have conversations with her etc etc she kept a lid on it and this but i've heard her elsewhere and i'm not sure of her but bar her i thought they were all good they also brought out the ufo connection well and they brought out well and tech the craft the orbs the portal connections we've heard for years for me since i've been studying this subject since the late 80s i've thought there was a connection but it's hard to figure out definitively one final point on the hilariously named dr katcham's dna text they found unknown male dna and a 15 000 year old human female dna for me this is consistent with the idea of a civilization that forked off from us thousands of years ago for what it's worth i think it's connected to the peter coorey encounter where the hair he recovered had very ancient basque and chinese dna which i think suggests the same thing so folks and that is all i've went 40 minutes on this one thank you for listening it's been a bonus show it's a little bit different to the normal ufo content but like i say this time of year it's great for bonus content and there's going to be lots of shows coming out over the next couple of weeks thank you so much for listening subscribing if you've enjoyed this like i say you want to suggest a topic for me to dip into ideally related at least spuriously to the ufo topic i'm happy to do that aside from the traditional normal regular ufo content that will not be changing but thank you so much for everyone who asked me to review this thank you to the folks over at american sasquatch who sent me a screener of the documentary it's available on amazon to rent or buy the and i encourage you to do so if you have the time folks i enjoyed it and like i say for me in terms of a documentary solid seven out of ten and the 90 minutes is is top-notch so thank you so much and again folks get your questions over for those end of year amas the end of your show with dan looking ahead to 2026 looking back at 2025
