Disclosure Unfolding: Whistleblowers, the 3I/Atlas Mystery, and Hidden Agendas

Hi everyone and welcome back to That UFO Podcast. My name is Andy and this is your news update for around the 15th of October 2025. Looking at a lot of the news and updates from the last week or so in the world of UFOs and slightly beyond. Don't forget folks I have to do that YouTuber thing of like, subscribe and leave a comment on the video if you're watching via YouTube. All makes a huge difference and if you're listening on audio platforms if you can leave a comment or a review. But listen, lots to get into this week, lots of news items and there was a brand new News Nation reality check with Ross Coulter last night that I haven't had the chance to watch yet so if anyone wonders my thoughts on it, I don't have any yet, I've not watched it. It was with a former Nellis Air Force Base nuclear security guard talking anomalous events at the base. If you've listened to it or watched it, I'll cover it in the next news update in the following days. It'd be good to hear your thoughts on that though so let me know in the comments below or via the website or via email. All the links are in the description for those and I'll cover them at the end of the show as well. But first off, the first big story I think that's really interesting and we're going to get something on really soon. Ross Coulter on reality check last week mentioned that there's going to be a new video coming out relatively soon, and there's that word soon, from Skywatcher. Ross has said they are doing a study on psionics, telepathy and such, and he said he's really excited by the work they're doing and the work itself is being peer-reviewed. That's the hold-up. It's an extensive peer review. It's not that there's some cover-up going on, it's not that they're looking to keep this super secret. They're going to be open, they're going to be transparent apparently, and it's only that peer-review process and how rigorous that it's been that is holding things up. So I thought that was a really important update to kick off with because for me, Ross himself as well has been a little sceptical at times of Skywatcher's lack of communication, especially publicly, which is good to hear that kind of news of the new video coming soon. Ross is certainly closer to this and Skywatcher than most, including Jake Barber, I'd assume given he broke the story back at the beginning of the year, and doesn't that seem a long time ago now, January. Skywatcher last gave an update publicly on the 18th of August, and that was when James Fowler left. He was one of the OGs of the group, the fabled dog whistle technology also being his, and that got a lot of folks talking when he left the group, but they've powered forward, so it's really interesting to see what they can release, and the sooner the better really, because it is getting towards the end of the year, where we were told by Skywatcher themselves there would be some real progress to show. Can we say right now that we've seen that progress publicly? Has it really been there? I don't think so, but I imagine we're going to hear a lot of things have happened in the background. They gave themselves a timeline. They time-stamped it, folks. They were going to have something by the end of the year, so I think it's brave to do that, but we can also see the trepidation behind giving timelines and such, because it might come and go, but hopefully this new video that's coming soon is good and worth the wait for. I'd love to hear your thoughts on that, folks. Interestingly, Jake Barber and, I believe, James Fowler are both attending the Sol Symposium in Italy next week, which I'm attending. I may have mentioned that now a few times, but yeah, that'll be really interesting, and I'd love to get a few minutes with them, especially to speak to you folks on the podcast if I can. So hopefully I can give a good impression and perhaps get them on the podcast at some point, but time is ticking for Skywatcher to kind of hold up their end of the bargain. And speaking of coming soon, the Age of Disclosure might have a bit of an update. So sticking with Ross Coulter, he has mentioned that according to sources, and he isn't the only person reporting this, folks, the Age of Disclosure documentary, the long-awaited Dan Farah documentary, due to ruffle the feathers in the corridors of power, may be released soon, with a limited cinema release, but mainly onto Amazon Prime as a streaming platform. Again, all rumors, but November, December is a potential time for that to be released. I think Dan Farah, it seems from reading between the lines, was really keen on the whole cinema release thing, and I've said from early on, that was always going to be a difficult sell. Even forget the UFO theme of the documentary. It's a time when a lot of cinema releases are struggling to pull in the crowds, let alone a niche release like this. What can I say about this one that hasn't been said before? I really do hope it's out ASAP. I do feel it's missed its window though by quite a long shot, like releasing a Christmas movie in the summer. You know, that's the way I feel. It had its time ahead of the UAP Disclosure Act being put to the floor, which hasn't gone through again. This could have helped. I think whatever's happened in the background, it's been really detrimental, and it should have been out May or June, at the latest, for me. Money talks, bullshit walks, as they say. Complete lack of updates on this one from the folks involved hasn't helped, and we certainly had a lot of publicity beforehand, didn't we, and a lot of folks talking about it, and then it's gone really quiet, which has been disappointing. If you want to know more about the documentary, I spoke to two listeners back at the time who attended the premiere at South by Southwest Festival. They walk through the key stuff from it, so definitely go and check that one out. Just search that UFO podcast, Age of Disclosure, on any platform, and you'll hear a quite comprehensive walkthrough. I'm curious to know, again, from you, the audience, are you willing to pay for this documentary at this point? If it's free as part of your Prime Video package, which you pay for, depending on your country you're in. I think we all pay for Prime Video anyway. Okay, that's one thing. I would take it being included, but if they want you to rent or buy it, are you willing to do that? If it's $2.99, $3.49, $4.99, $9.99? I don't know at this point if I would be willing to buy it. I'd have to for you lot, and I'd want to see it, but I could get how your average person who may have wanted to watch it wouldn't see the value in this anymore. Something that was really interesting was Weaponise last week obviously brought forward another new whistleblower who had went through the whole process to potentially speak at the hearings in September, but it never happened. We were introduced to Daniel Gawkerl, who in 2006 was in the last stage of ranger school, said he'd had a bad jump, and I presume he means parachute jump, sustained a bad injury, really bad injury, and for recovery was housed in a medical facility at Eglin Air Force Base. He says he was awoken one night by the noise of a large engine powering up and down. He got out of bed and was in a kind of frame to keep his back straight with crutches. He made his way to the desk where the staff on duty was kind of watching a movie, you know, headphones on. He asked what that sound was, and the guy was a bit dismissive, just, you know, ah, the Air Force testing something. He said he bummed a cigarette, stepped outside where he says he looked to his left, we're around 300 to 400 yards away, in a clearing surrounded by high portable generator lights that you would see on kind of highways for roadworks. He saw some black SUVs, Humvees and military personnel and whatnot. Hovering above them was a huge aircraft, 15 to 20 feet off the ground, 200 to 300 feet long. No visible cockpit, no engine. He says it rises, hovering, with no oscillation, so dead still. Then says it banks slightly and shoots off. He says when it banked, he could make out that it was triangular in shape with lights at each angle with a light in the center. We've heard this so many times now, that description. He says it traveled so fast, but with no noise, that it should have broken the sound barrier, but just silence, and he could only hear the buzzing of the generator lights. He said the object then comes back, stays for a few seconds, takes off violently fast, and he says it does us a few times. He uses the word that he is bored with the event and decides while it's cool, he thinks it's just our military testing something, but that certainly wasn't anything traditional he had seen or heard about. And speaking to Jeremy Corbell about it, Daniel says he never signed NDAs or anything about the event, just something he saw and didn't speak much more about. Says he was speaking to a mutual friend in Corbell's circle in DC, that that friend could be Grush, Burchett, Burleson, Borland, a lot of bees there. And he got in touch with Corbell at that point. He says he provided his full testimony to Congress. Jeremy Corbell mentions that it was interesting enough, the FBI wanted to speak to him about the sighting. Gockrell mentions that Arrow wanted to speak to him, but he's wary of speaking to certain people or groups, especially Arrow, who have, in his words, a propensity to belittle whistleblower stories. Now, you know, where have we heard that again from multiple folks? So the question is, taking Daniel at face value, what did he see? Was it human tech, non-human, or something in between? This sort of testimony is really interesting. I think it's better suited to that sort of platform with weaponized, when it's quite short and specific, unless you can get a whole roster of people with these stories standing up and rhyming them off in front of Congress. It just becomes a short storytelling session. And I don't know how much use that is for a public hearing in front of Congress. Corbell and Knapp make the point after, where are these things? If so, many whistleblowers are now coming forward and talking about these objects, these huge black triangles, where are they? If they're ours, you know, where are we keeping them? Why aren't we seeing them in conflict? Probably plenty of reasons why not, to be honest. But these are almost a real, for me, there's almost a real top secret mutually assured destruction thing with these objects, like how nuclear weapons are there for superpowers to sort of put each other off using them. I wonder, is it the case that superpowers know what each other have in terms of this incredible technology? So that's why we don't get direct conflicts between Russia, China, the US, and everything is kind of by proxy at the minute. But let me play a clip of what Daniel Gawkerl had to say first. Now, there was another person, George, who the world did not get to hear from. Somebody that was authorized to testify to Congress went through the entire vetting process. So my name is Daniel Gawkerl. In 2006, February to March time frame, I was in a last stage of the Ranger School. Notable observations, and that it's, there's a zero oscillation, right? The propulsion and noise, there was no audible report, no hum, nothing. How big was this? Why was it, in your mind, different? This thing could take up a football field. It was instant, and it was far and away just like the most violently fast thing that I've ever seen. So yeah, really interesting stuff. Please check out the full interview on Weaponize. I think Jeremy Corbell and George Knapp, these last few months have been incredible for reporting on this topic. And yeah, really enjoyed that, really enjoyed it. James Lekatsky, moving on, has a new book out. So James Lekatsky, you may ask who he is, if you're not too familiar, was an intelligence officer for the DIA's Defense Warning Office. And most notably, in 2008, became the program manager with responsibility for the logistics of OSAP, and that is the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Application Program, which was the Big Daddy program before AATIP. James, along with Cole McElleher and George Knapp, have been involved in the Skinwalkers at the Pentagon series. I've talked about those books on the podcast with those gents, and that included the first book of the same name, the second book, Initial Revelations, and his new work, the third in the series is called New Insights. And I'm going to read the blurb from the book now. New Insights is the third book in the Skinwalkers at the Pentagon series that documents the largest US government-sponsored UFO program in history. The Advanced Aerospace Weapons System Application Program, or OSAP, contract was run from the Defense Intelligence Agency and was executed by Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, or BAS. A part of the program involved boots-on-the-ground research, focus on the notorious Skinwalker Ranch, and new insights covers the depth and breadth of the research with gripping accounts. It then includes, an orange soccer ball-sized sphere would a in from the pastures and slowly circle the house on Skinwalker Ranch several times at window level. They were sitting at the dining room table, looking out the screen door to the front yard. Suddenly, the orange sphere passed in front of the screen, but instantly came to a halt and backed up. It again halted in the middle of the doorway, hovering and observing. It then proceeded on its routine flight path around the house and flew off. DIA's OSAP effort investigated both UFO performance and effects on humans, including, most controversially, the paranormal. So that's the blurb, folks. I've just started the book, and I'll be doing a pod on it real soon, covering it in more detail, letting you know what it's all about, any interesting parts to bring from it. The first eight chapters are more overviews of various aspects of what was happening, what was being done, material overview, management plans, etc. Then the rest is a diary, reporting on various incidents that have happened. For example, I've picked one at random for you. Genuinely, don't look into why I've picked this one. I turned to a page, picked this, and I'll read it for you. So this is from chapter eight, MUFON reports reviewed by OSAP, and it was August 2009. Houston, Texas, date of the event, August 3rd, 2009. This is one of the entries, folks, in the book. Witness narrative in CMS. The idea of the primary witness is being withheld for professional reasons. The witness is known to me and is considered highly reliable and credible. I spoke with a senior field investigator for MUFON in Houston, who recommended that I fill this report. I have deleted specific location identifiers at the Houston International Airport. I will act as a go-between if a follow-up is needed. Here is the account from the witness. Last night, August 3rd, 2009, we were taxiing out about 21.30, one hour late, departing from Houston International Airport. Heading west to a spot, number deleted, we were told to monitor ground control for taxi clearance to the runway. While waiting for our clearance, we spotted a very bright and large red light that was about 20 to 30 degrees north of the horizon, above the horizon, sorry. It was moving slowly and appeared to be descending at a very slow rate. While watching this light, we saw it emit a smaller red light, which fell for a few seconds and then vanished. We looked at each other, my co-pilot and a jump-seating commuter airline pilot sitting in the cockpit jump seat, and said, Did you see that? A few seconds later, the large red light slowly faded away and disappeared. We thought, oh, that was weird, and the large red light suddenly reappeared. It had moved in a north-easterly direction and was now closer to us. We couldn't tell how far away the light was, but it was a very bright reddish or orange colour, and that was a steady light with no flickering. It appeared to be oval-shaped. As we watched it, we were given clearance to taxi, so I started moving slowly, trying to keep this object in view from my left cockpit window. Then it suddenly released another small red object and again slowly faded away, about the time we reached the runway. I desperately wanted to ask the tower if they were watching this, and my co-pilot said, no, don't say anything. So I didn't. We turned on to the runway, which would have put this object out the right window. Still, my first officer said he didn't see anything, so we took off on, deleted runway number, turned to a heading of 125, and climbed out towards the Gulf of Mexico. This was very strange. It was not a police helicopter or military aircraft. There were no navigation lights or strobe lights, and it was near a bustling airport. I thought it was strange that no one else mentioned this light to the tower. It was evident, obvious, and creepy. I have read similar eyewitness accounts that cannot be explained away as misidentifications. I know what it wasn't, but I don't know what it was. I thought you might be interested, and it might also be interesting if anyone in the Houston area has experienced this. So that was one of the interesting snippets from the book, and there's loads of those in the book, folks. It is available on Amazon, of course. Looking forward to digging into it myself. Now, James Lekatsky doesn't do many interviews, very few indeed, and I think he's only been on a couple of podcasts ever, really. So I'm doing my best to dig out a relevant guest for this one. On to the next story, and I'm going to make this a kind of short one, a kind of two-for-one. I've got a video clip to play, too, as part of this. So a few members of Congress speaking out on various platforms in the last week. Worth noting a few interviews, including with Representative Anna Paulina Luna and Representative Tim Burchett on some big platforms. And that's why I mentioned these. Tim Burchett was on with Tucker Carlson. And obviously, they've got talking UFOs. And I'm going to play one of the soundbites for you now. Yeah. Well, we've had, you know, what are they? We've had sworn testimony where they'll tell you, they'll say, yeah, I've seen beings. There's a movie coming out. And the testimony says this is sworn testimony. Sworn testimony. They've got their beings and there's saucers or some craft or something. But there's a movie coming out pretty soon, if it's ever allowed to come out. I was in it a little bit. And you have former members of the CIA. You have others that positively say they were there. And they identified these things. They diagnosed them and they saw them. They saw the craft. And, you know, there's enough people out there saying it, but they're just so suppressed. And I'd be really curious based on, you know, those kind of comments, especially if you're in the US and a constituent of Tim Burchett. What do you think about him talking UFOs in this way? How does it go down with other folks? Does it impact anyone in terms of voting based on them talking UFOs still? That's a question for the general population in the United States. And similarly, Representative Luna was on Danny Jones' podcast. It goes all over the place, as I think Luna's podcast shows tend to. I think, yeah, I don't think she's incredibly knowledgeable. You know, she's not incredibly knowledgeable on the UFO topic and can be a bit scattergun in what she says. But he does ask in the show quite late on, you know, what's your best guess on the UFO topic and what UFOs are. He mentions intergalactic space aliens and she laughs. He gives a few other options and she says the best way to frame it was through David Grush, who says non-human intelligence, says we don't know what they are, talks Bibles, angels, demons. I get the gut feeling she isn't really sure herself anyway. She says that we don't know. And many of the political figures are taking the lead in this now. They're speaking to the same few folks behind the scenes. And it must be difficult to kind of make up their mind on these. Danny Jones mentioned that these things are in the oceans. Based on a conversation with the brilliant Kevin Knuth. I've interviewed Kevin on the podcast before. Check those out. And based on atmospheres that vary across different planets, water is the most stable, controlled environment across the same planets and moons. So it would make sense that these objects would be in the oceans. And I thought that was a really interesting way to look at why objects would be in the oceans. It's the most stable environment with, you know, water exists between this temperature and this temperature. So regardless what planet you're on, if there's water, you know the environment is going to be between certain temperatures. There's going to be certain conditions. And that's something that would make a lot of sense. So, yeah, interesting. Just some of the notes of what's been said on some big platforms by politicians. I get where things are at right now politically, folks. Especially for you lot in the United States. It's always quite divisive anyway. However, yeah, I'm going to report on it still. But I appreciate all the comments coming in. And I've said if folks wanted to speak to me individually about political situations in the States and my thoughts and everything, I'm not a big political guy. But, you know, I'm always happy to have one-on-one conversations, folks. There's plenty of politics or podcast talking politics out there that you can find to agree with, to argue with. I don't want to get involved in that. I like the UFO topic and I try and stick to that, to be honest. Final story before we get to a lot of listener comments, which are interesting. This is like the end of the news where the softer story happens and we get the kind of the kitten stuck in the tree. And this one's a bit spoilery because the infamous Panama alien venom thing that's been growing in a dish has finally been revealed to be a hoax. You may or may not be shocked at that. The poster, originally Kin Panama, who has been giving us updates, has finally shown it's basically been a combination of hot glue that's solidified as it's been cooled and really basic puppetry using wires and string to give the idea that it was moving. And they've posted a load of pictures and videos as to how they've done this. He had actually stated initially before it went viral that this wasn't real. It wasn't a real alien thing. But when it gained traction, they removed those comments and they let the story spread like the type of venom thing we thought this was. I don't doubt some folks are still going to cling to this being a cover up. But there we have it. You know, the creators themselves have come out and said, there's nothing to this. We literally made this with hot glue. That's why it looks so weird. The movements and the convulsions are just basically wires and string. Really simple stuff. But for me, it's always better to find out the truth and move on rather than trying to convince yourself of something being something that it isn't. There's plenty to keep us going in this topic without hoaxes and nonsense. And that's where I'm going to get to some of your comments on the stories I've just went through. I would love to get some aerospace engineers or nuclear engineers to answer some more technology questions, like how much power would a football field-sized craft need to fly? I think that would show how crazy some of these claims of human-made craft truly are. Now, folks, if you're on the YouTube, you can see I'm just double-checking my phone. I'm just going to confirm for you that next week, along those lines, I do have Dr. Gregory Rogers. Now, you may have heard him previously. Dr. Gregory Rogers is a former NASA and Air Force senior flight surgeon. So he is going to come on and talk to me about the UFO topic. And if you want to get any questions like that over to a former NASA and Air Force employee, now's the time to do it. I'm going to record with him on Monday next week. That one's just came up, and I'm trying to get some stuff recorded ahead of me heading off to the SALT symposium for the weekend and take a little bit of a break during that time, as much as I'm recording while I'm there. So, yeah, good timing with that question. I will have Dr. Rogers on, so D. Hickey, get in touch and let me know what your thoughts are, any questions you want me to put to Dr. Rogers. Francisco says, Hi, Andy. I'm Fred. I've loved the idea of UFOs and aliens since being a child. I'm 43 now. With many years of reading, listening and watching, I'm starting to feel that maybe at first this was an interesting way for the government to explain away new aircraft, etc. Now, still the same. After all the researchers and eyewitnesses and insiders, still nothing of strong evidence. Seems there are too many persons or groups that make money from all of this. What are your thoughts? And then mentions anyone in and around the northeast of England fancy a meetup and discussion. That is very much my area. I am in the northeast of England. And I'd like to do something maybe early next year for folks in the area who want to kind of meet up. But yeah, but separately to your idea that, you know, there's nothing new. I think that's very subjective because just me being able to do these news updates indicates there are new things. There are new reports. I think the whistleblower culture is the phase of ufology we're in right now. And that's something that's going to come up in a moment around what is a whistleblower, to be honest. But we've got a lot of folks speaking out from official government positions who never used to talking about the UFO topic, talking about Dylan Borland seeing, you know, huge triangles with glowing skins and whatnot. Daniel Gockrell sharing his interesting, you know, experience. Jake Barber coming out and David Grush were in this new era, which has lasted perhaps nearly two years now. And it doesn't seem to be slowing down where it goes. I don't know. But for me, it's just where we are. It's another phase of ufology. If we didn't have this, if 2017 didn't happen, I don't know where it would be. Social media certainly has its part to play, but the narrative has certainly been shaped since 2017. You know, there will come a point where we move on from this era of ufology. I don't know when that will be. And the reverberations of 2017 and the New York Times article and everything that came from that. But I don't think we're there yet. Maybe it'll evolve. Maybe it'll stop and move on. I don't know. But yeah, interesting. Really, really cool. Cool question. What are other people's thoughts on that? The kind of where we are in ufology? Does this get us somewhere? Does it get us to a new place? Or is it something that will be looked back on as just an era in ufology that came and went? Buttered Mushrooms over on YouTube, cool name, said, Question. When Ross Coulter said he had it on good authority, the Nimitz tic-tac was Lockheed Martin. The radar operator said there were multiple radar returns detected, multiple craft. A fleet of 20 to 40 dropping from the atmosphere to sea level in seconds. What about the rest of the tic-tac fleet? The fact there wasn't just one tic-tac is ignored, and I find it highly implausible the whole fleet where Lockheed Martin owned. Unless UAP were witnessing and mimicking the Lockheed craft out of curiosity of this milestone, that's the only plausible scenario I can think of that might just help explain the entire fleet, if what Ross says is actually true and not just misinformation. God, I don't want to misremember the whole tic-tac being Lockheed Martin technology, but I think that that was an interesting point made at the time by others. I think I may have mentioned it on here, that there was a fleet of tic-tacs, and if indeed it is Lockheed Martin technology, that doesn't negate the fact it's from a non-human source. It wasn't back-engineered, reverse-engineered. Where did they get this technology? How did they have so many of them? Why were they testing over a United States nuclear fleet? That sounds incredibly irresponsible, but not surprising. Yeah, and I think it's fair to say that since then, Ross Coulthart has walked that back somewhat. It may be the truth is somewhere in the middle, and that's an interesting one to explore down the line. But yeah, for me, that's one that came and went, and I don't think Ross has hung around on that idea for too long for me. I don't get to watch every single News Nation show, but I've not seen Ross Coulthart go back over this too many times. Folks can correct me in the comments and whatnot otherwise. But yeah, so thanks for the question, and I totally agree with you. I don't believe we were seeing human technology being tested out, not without there being a healthy dose of something non-human involved in that as well. Kimberly said, Hi Andy, thank you for the shout-out when with Pavel, good vibes. So, Matt Brown's first tweet referenced the place in Virginia to investigate for bodies. I believe Burchett did reference similar. What about a dive on that? What is Brown talking about? What else since that tweet are now connecting now, possibly in future? We all know nuts and bolts are real or here. But if the government isn't going to go more on that piece, why not start investigating around who they are and where are they? Keep thinking Matt laid out the map for citizen pressure and search for discovery or discussion on that and how to pursue crowdsourcing approach to ferret out a potential person from that location. So yeah, I think this has been not just Matt Brown, but by a couple of folks. They have named names and locations over the last couple of months or a year or so, going back to David Grush. And I'm always wary of when we know publicly or see publicly a location has been named because if there was anything of interest there, either it gets moved by the time it's been made public or it's in such a secure location. Just because you know or point out a building doesn't mean the object or biologics or material isn't 200 feet underground in a locked vault behind a door with armed guards. So it's really difficult. A little bit like the whole storm Area 51 thing. I wonder if folks think if they genuinely stormed the gates of Area 51, made it miles out into the desert to one of these actual buildings and stormed in, they're not going to see, in my opinion, a UFO craft sitting there. They might see some aircraft. They're not going to see alien bodies. I don't believe those things are kept at ground level. I believe they would be in the mountains or underground, rather deep underground. So yeah, I'm really interested to see and hear things named publicly. But for me, any names of locations have to be done behind closed doors. And even then, you don't think these folks have the wherewithal to get information like that to them. They have spies, they have informants, they just know something's being named and they have time to move or put contingencies in place. Otherwise, what would stop the Russians, the Chinese or, you know, spies? Spies are real. There is such a thing as, you know, spies. And they would go to these places or maybe they're there already and infiltrate. So yeah, I think whenever we see or hear something named as a location, it's probably too late by that point. But I don't know. Love to know your thoughts on that one. But thank you so much for the question. Tapadat, again, cool name, says, I know I've said before, but the biggest news is Theiatlus and no one is talking about it. Okay, so I have mentioned this before. And this is me answering now, folks. The Tapadat was more of a statement. And then I've covered it a few times now. And a lot of YouTube channels are discussing this and getting hundreds of thousands of views based on not a lot of information. But here's my balanced take on it. I've tried to do a little bit of research. Okay, so let's talk about Theiatlus, interstellar visitor that's causing quite a stir. If you've followed the chatter online, you'll know there are two camps forming on this. Some scientists are saying nothing to say here. It's just a regular comet from another star system. Others are raising their eyebrows going, hang on, this is a bit odd. So let me break it down, what each side is actually saying. I'm going to cover first, folks, that it's just a comet crowd. And again, anything I get wrong here, I'm not a scientist, so please let me know. First up, the people in the It's a Natural Phenomenon camp, they are saying Theiatlus behaves mostly like what you'd expect a comet passing through our solar system to behave like. Number one, it's giving off all the usual gases, water, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, classic comet stuff. Telescopes like the Swift and James Webb Telescope picked up those signatures, so that fits the normal model nicely. Number two, it started venting gas way out, about six times further from the sun and earth, or from the sun than the earth. So that's far, but not impossible. It just means it's got some exotic ices that heat up easily. Number three, its massive claim is probably overblown. The early talk about a 20 kilometer wide rock is most likely wrong. The light we're seeing is mostly from the coma, the big cloud of dust and gas around it, not the solid object underneath. Number four, the weird chemical mix might not actually be that weird. Maybe it's formed in a colder star system, so it's rich in CO2 and poor in water. That would make it different, but still natural. And finally, they'll tell you, we've only seen three interstellar objects so far. Amuamua, Borisov, and now this one, with a sample size that small. The odds of seeing something odd are actually pretty high, because we only have seen a couple of these things. So, yeah, that's the natural camp, folks. Let's look at the something's not quite right camp. So the other side of this, here's what's got those folks buzzing. First off, 3i Atlas is way too bright for its size. So if you assume that brightness is mostly coming from the object itself and not dust, it would make it huge, way bigger than Amuamua or Borisov. Second, and this is an interesting one for me, not, again, knowing a whole lot about this kind of stuff from a scientific point of view, its tail points the wrong way. So instead of the tail blowing away from the sun, Atlas seems to have a plume facing toward it, and that's really odd for a comet. And while it's not impossible, it's definitely not typical, which is really weird. Yeah, for me, in my head, and this might be wrong, I imagine your car having an exhaust on the front of the car and the propulsion going the opposite way. So really odd, not impossible, but definitely not typical. So that's a checkbox for anomalous. Third option, third part of that would be the chemical signature is weird. It's giving off nickel gas, but no iron, and it's loaded with carbon dioxide, something like eight times more CO2 than water. That's one of the highest ratios ever recorded for a comet. Fourth, when scientists looked at the way it reflects light, the polarization, it doesn't match other comets either. It's showing what's called extreme negative polarization, which makes it look more like an icy Kuiper belt object than a standard comet. Fifth, and it's interesting here, there's so many more could be anomalous signs than not. The orbit's suspiciously perfect, so it's traveling almost exactly along the plane of our solar system within about five degrees. If it came randomly from another star, that's not impossible, but the odds are small. Avi Loeb puts it roughly at one in 500. Number six, its path just happens to swing near Mars, Venus, and Jupiter, and Loeb argues, Avi Loeb's argued that that's incredibly low probability trajectory if it's just drifting by in chance. And seven, the direction it came from is roughly the same patch of sky as the famous wow signal from 1977, within about nine degrees. That's coincidence, maybe, but it's definitely fueling the speculation. So folks, what to say? At this point, both camps have fair arguments, and that's where someone like me, you'll know I often sit on the fence with stuff when I'm not sure, and I'm looking and seeing people arguing on both sides. The mainstream view is, yes, this is very quirky, but there's nothing here that can eventually be explained by normal comet science. The anomaly crowd are saying there's too many coincidences to just shrug it off, and that's also true. The truth is, we've only seen a handful of these interstellar visitors, so for all we know, they might all look weird because we've never had enough data to know what normal even means for objects from other star systems. We have got a very, very, very limited data set from a scientific point of view. Either way, it's a really interesting object. I will keep updating on it as and when there's stuff to update. If nothing else, it's really interesting from a scientific point of view and help us identify and study further objects that come into the solar system in the future. I don't think it's going away anytime soon, and I imagine over the next few months, we will start to see a separation of drama and data, and maybe, I've said again on the last update, maybe it comes to something more interesting. I would love to know your thoughts on this, and if you get any really interesting clips, please send me them over. I appreciate when folks send me YouTube links and stuff. If you send me an hour and a half long video, I might struggle to watch it. So any timestamps would also be greatly appreciated. But that's a little update for you there. Thank you for the question on 3i Atlas. And that was from Tapadat. So yeah, cheers for that. Over to Don. Don says, two questions for you. First, whatever happened to that whistleblower who was due to publish a book? Was it last year? Revealing all about his selection for a secret US Air Force program for gifted psionic children. I remember Ross and a few others mentioning it last year or the year before, but haven't heard anything about it. Honestly, really disappointingly, Don, I don't remember that. So if anyone's got info on that, send it over. Would appreciate it. Secondly, this is related to UAP Disclosure Act, which looks like it's heading for a third failure in a row. My question is, why didn't the same forces that are preventing its current passage also stop the original UAP Disclosure Act amendment that passed in 2023? If they had stopped that dead in its tracks, then there's a fair chance we wouldn't have consequently had David Grush coming forward, who I think it's fair to say triggered the current wave of whistleblowers disclosure attempts that we're seeing now. Be interesting to hear your thoughts on both. Keep up the good work. Thank you for that. I think similar to how the videos that got leaked and declassified of Gimbal, Go Fast, Tic Tac are, and again, I'm going to use the word boring or generic enough in quotations, they're lacking enough detail to be released that we're missing the really interesting stuff off of them. And I think that's probably the same for the UAP Disclosure Act amendment that did pass in 2023 with some provisions that made it through for whistleblowers and whatnot, but the really strong stuff didn't. And I suppose why put all the effort in to block everything? You just block what you need to. And that's what happened. And let's be fair, it seems to have worked because they know it's not getting through. And again, it didn't get the support, even of folks who are apparently pro-disclosure within the political sphere and elsewhere as well. So yeah, for me, the UAP Disclosure Act isn't going to be something that gets us any progress. Maybe we have to have a different tact or different push to see progress in that arena. I'd love to know other people's thoughts on that. It seems, does it seem worth it to go in for a fourth time? I don't know that it does. It seems a lot of effort happening in the background for that, but yeah, who knows? DCR Noodle made a statement, mobile underwater base should literally be every headline. I love that. And it is a little bit more speculative and I'd love to, and I'm hoping after the SALS symposium, I maybe get to meet some folks that I can dig into this a little bit more with. And if you've got any suggestions, folks, please get in touch around that whole mobile underwater base. But I do love that idea that was mooted that there is this base underwater that the US and other governments know about that when they approach it, disappears for a few days and then comes back when they've gone and they've left it alone. Is this creating the tic-tacs? Is it creating different objects? Is there any entities in this base? It's a fascinating idea and it's that kind of speculation I'm really happy to go down the route of. It's very rabbit-holy. But yeah, really interesting idea, that whole mobile underwater base stuff. And it would make sense. Look back earlier at Danny Jones's comments about Professor Kevin Knuth, who has a wonderful mind and a great speaker on the topic. If you haven't heard him, please go and check out when I spoke to Kevin Knuth. But if someone like him is really happy to discuss that idea, and it does make sense that, well, you could set up underwater bases on most planets and avoid any difficulties with the atmosphere and the terrain and the weather outside, because that would vary so much from planet to planet. Just go underwater, stay there, and all you really deal with is the temperature of the water, I suppose. Would that be right? I think so. So yeah, good point. I love the whole underwater base thing. Any recommendations for guests on that, folks? Let's go for it. David Ungar from Attitude of Aggression. Good show. It says, Regarding weaponized Dylan Borland's account of events, now Daniel Gawcroll, the question I keep going back to is the question Perry posed at at the last hearing. It's one I've discussed on my own show, and that's Attitude of Aggression, folks, but I would love to hear your thoughts. If this is just US super advanced tech, regardless of where or how we got it, why are we just testing this stuff out in plain sight like this is for anyone, including our enemies to see? Are we just that arrogant that we have gotten away with it for 80 plus years, so why change now? Or is it something else? Looking forward to this episode, Andy. So yeah, interesting idea. I suppose such a big question for a short answer here. I suppose it means what are you talking about as being US tech for me, David? Because the idea that all of this is US tech, complete nonsense. The idea that all of it's human tech is complete nonsense. The idea of some of it being our tech, absolutely. I think, for example, a lot of the drone stuff that's going on, and it's not the most popular opinion, but from last year through to now, that still happened in Germany recently and Denmark, is you're seeing Chinese drones or US drones testing out and scanning and observing and whatnot. And why not? Because they're not going to come out and say it was China, and China's not going to come out and say it's the US, because those could potentially be seen as acts of aggression or acts of war, depending on where those drones are. So they just let it be, and they are just observing, and they can data collect in the reverse sense as well. I think sometimes this stuff does get tested in more public arenas than others. It happens in cover of night. It's not as if they're doing it in the middle of the day, which is obviously, that indicates it's being done at night for a reason, unless it's just a 50-50 chance it's dark rather than light. But for me, I think, if you've got private entities and organizations working on some of this stuff, maybe they are that brazen to test it publicly. But yeah, I think if you're looking at the drone stuff that's happening, I think that's just China, the US and whatnot spying on each other and winding each other up, pretty much. Perhaps the Russians involved in that as well. I don't know. Again, I love your thoughts on that, folks. Thank you very much for the question. I would hasten to say, though, a lot of the stuff that is seen publicly is either foreign national entities spying or something else. I'll just say that much. Celeste mentions that the Tom DeLonge and A.J. Hartley book Time Riders is out and I've ordered the hardback book interview this week was sadly lacking and that was an interview with A.J. Hartley, Jim Semivan and Peter Lavenda on To The Stars Talks. Lavenda dominated the interview for Celeste and Hartley didn't get a chance to say much at all. There wasn't a lot said about the book. I can't really comment yet on the book, folks, so I won't say much more, Celeste. But Time Riders is one I've ordered and it's not out in the UK till next week. The Secret Machines series was really good. I enjoyed the A.J. Hartley Tom DeLonge book. Oh God, what was it called? I'm taking a total blank on it. It'll come back to me. But the one that just happened, the one that came out not too long ago and they're able to put some really interesting ideas, you know, using that non-fiction and fiction blend which works really well and I suppose gets him around getting into trouble from things I've been told by sources and whatnot. Purple Burglar, thank you for the question around 3i Atlas and I've sent that, obviously I've answered that in extensive detail just before. Hopeless Diamond sent in some thoughts and Hopeless Diamond, thank you for all the contributions recently in the conversations online. You said some of your thoughts are Lekatsky's book is a counterintelligence piece. Interesting. You said the new whistleblower is a witness. A whistleblower informs on a person or organisation regarded as engaging in an unlawful or immoral activity. He did neither. He just says he saw an impressive craft on a military base and not only that but he got bored of it. So yeah, I think there is this, I think whistleblowers may be a romantic or sexy word that gets used sometimes when people aren't strictly blowing the whistle depending on what they're saying or maybe some of the substance we don't hear but I totally get your point on that. And it was an interesting idea that he got bored of it. That was a strange choice. Maybe just a poor choice of words on Daniel's part that he was seeing something incredibly interesting. Maybe he was just really tired and everything else but you would think the adrenaline seeing something like that would wake you up and you would stay as long as you could. So yeah, weird choice of words. And when I mentioned Skywatcher's new video, I'm going to quote Hopeless Diamond here. He said, Away and don't talk pish, which is a great Scottish quote and a great reference to a great Scottish TV show called Still Game, folks. I would recommend thoroughly. And I'm going to give the final word on the listeners from Josh and I wonder how many others feel like this as well. These shows are wonderful for me getting to check out a lot of the news but I get to hear your thoughts and opinions so please, if you're listening to this and want to get involved, get in touch because here's what Josh says. What this week has shown me is that until Congress consolidates their disclosure efforts, we aren't getting anywhere. We've got Luna and her task force operating in their free time, per the Danny Jones interview, with no subpoena power. We've got Gillibrand and her continued defensive arrow, seemingly unwilling to offer much criticism considering her recent back and forth with Matt Laszlo. Then we've got Schumer and Rounds introducing the UAP Disclosure Act for the third straight year and watching it fade away without much protest or comment. On the surface, it feels exciting to have three efforts within Congress operating seriously when it comes to UAP. Ideally, there would be three tips of the same spear. In practice, though, they more or less operate independently with none of the three standing alongside the others publicly. The closest we have is Gillibrand co-sponsoring the UAP Disclosure Act, but even then, that feels hollow considering her apparent lack of interest in anything beyond arrow. The one commonality between all of the members of Congress I mentioned is how much they insist the UAP issue is non-partisan. I fear that at this point that it's not only untrue, it's factional within the parties themselves. Schumer and Gillibrand are Democrats, but have they ever been united on arrow? Have Republicans Luna and Rounds stood together to fight for the UAP Disclosure Act? As far as I can recall, the answer to both questions is no. Those who recall the last UAP Disclosure Act, Push may recall that even Burchett tried to submit a much more concise bill at the last minute, which was curious timing. I fear we're watching something akin to divide and conquer taking place. Accept the place to divide pro-disclosure advocates into taking sides, when in reality we're all on the same side. If I'm right, it's kind of genius if it wasn't so depressing. So yeah, interesting idea and thoughts and I think for me I have, I've got to say I've got less faith now in the folks politically in the states pushing things forward in the right way than I did six months ago than I did a year ago than I did 24 months ago. I think it would only be logical that even some of the folks, I won't even name names, what's the point? Some of those folks with aspirations of higher political careers would be offered money or influence or backing or sponsorship to give off a certain kind of message, to let stuff go, to push a certain narrative. I'd be strange if that wasn't happening because the people that are the gatekeepers, the secret keepers, the people with this technology, with this information, the people that can really help disclose with a capital D are the folks that are helping run countries, that are putting presidents in place, that are toppling governments, that are, you know, that are, you know, infiltrating infrastructure at all the different levels and for me, that's not conspiracy, that's just likely and that's what I expect. So yeah, I get that, Josh, but I think there's a whole lot of good work being done on the UFO topic and none more so on that note, folks, I'll mention to finish up a little request that I'm going to the Sol Symposium who I really enjoy the work Sol do and I'm really, really excited to see and hear it firsthand.
