THC Book Report | Charged by Dr. Gerald Pollack

oh oh it's magic people here we go higher side chatters from the sunshine state i'm greg carlwood and it is an exciting day the legendary dr gerald pollock of fourth phase of water fame recently released a book called charged the unexpected role of electricity in the workings of nature where he applied his mind to the theme of anti-gravity and levitation and just how things work in reality he uses the term electrostatic repulsion a lot and it's great because we talk about some wild stuff on this show with guests who have all sorts of bizarre stories and exotic research a lot of the times it makes flying saucers sound a bit boring actually but there have been thousands of people who have seen ufos and objects hovering or levitating in ways that don't make sense with conventional physics but they do make sense when you read dr pollock's new book and who knows what the truth might be about a breakaway civilization or alien visitation or many of the things we've heard about the farthest fringes of nikola tesla's work or the nazi bell device or some of the wild ideas about the ancient world and how the hell many of the logic defined megalithic stone sites could have been built these are all examples where many people in the mainstream would say these stories and these observations must be wrong because they don't fit within our physics model and the reality is that we instead need to work out how the model must be adjusted to account for these observations experiences and ancient constructions but we know that anyway dr pollock's book lays the scientific foundation for all of that to make a lot more sense now if you recall dr pollock's insights into water came from the years he spent studying how muscles work and found it strange that standard models of muscle contraction and movement ignored water even though muscle tissue is roughly 98 99 percent water molecules i remember him having the thought that if muscles are mainly just plain water why don't they spill out or burst like a water balloon when a surgeon cuts into them there must be something here that we miss some quantifiable difference between water as we know it and water in your body and that led them to discover gel state water which has different properties and is differentiated enough to justify a new term or phrase because up to that point our language that it's all just water needed to be updated some other researchers have taken issue with referring to it as a fourth phase or a plasma state of water and that's all above my pay grade the reality is that he made some major discoveries that were right there waiting to be noticed and a lot of people who didn't discover these things want to push up their glasses and say well actually i kid but let's just take the win there's an entire water movement now taking dr pollock's discoveries and running with them but i loved his point that this water stuff went undiscovered for so long because scientists only study water as single molecules in the lab so these communicative properties were just missed and that resonates a lot with me i'm glad that structured water and vortexing and the health of water is such a big topic in the biohacking health community kudos to him and you could definitely say that holistic thinking filters into his new book charged as well with the water thing the big differentiator with exclusion zone water and what separates easy water from regular old h2o is the charge so the books actually have a lot in common and we're working with a very natural sequel one could say the fourth phase of water book is largely written like it could be a classroom textbook with lots of leading questions that get the reader thinking along the right lines and tons of sketches and diagrams showing aspects of how gel state water forms and where we can see it in nature and charged is written in a similar way in fact for that purpose it's pretty perfect it's the high school textbook for anti-gravity and levitation as natural phenomenon that anyone could understand that's maybe how i would sum it up and it pulls together a lot of information and includes some of my favorite figures from the past who made similar observations but had those discoveries suppressed or at a minimum we could say they failed to get traction for whatever reason i would say it all works very well because to me the biggest value of this book is that dr pollack already has established himself as a very serious professional he has a following that has proven to at least be open to new discoveries in water science and he put this book together in such a way that you really could teach a class with it and you can understand the history and present it in a practical way that won't turn anyone off by the over association with very fringy stuff that might give people who want to dismiss it some sort of intellectual out you know but this is the first of these new solo show book reports that is going out in the free feed i don't want to leave free listeners hanging completely with my extension of thc beyond just doing interviews and it's good for interested parties to bear witness as to what these are like and see if plus might be of interest to you the vast majority of these will be four plus members because it only makes sense for someone committed to an ad free subscriber based model to do that but okay so dr pollack sent me his new book and in the time between setting a date to record and that date coming around sadly he suffered a stroke i understand he's recovering well and will be back at it soon but it has taken many months and will take several more months and that's about all i know but obviously our thoughts and prayers are with him and from what i understand he has some talented healing practitioners around him that work with all sorts of unconventional techniques so we hope he makes a full recovery and the timing for a stroke is never good but right when you release a new book like this and you line up all your interviews well that just adds insult to injury and when you consider the subject matter itself and the history of those who swam in such waters no pun intended i am left with questions that will never be answered but presenting weird stuff is the kind of thing i do so i figured it would be nice to get the word out about this new book without needing to bother him personally and just as i usually like to start interviews with how a particular show came to be for these i thought it'd be a nice traditional way to get started if we consult the clip genie archive for what previous guests have said regarding a book i might do a book report on or anything relevant to the theme and i hope it breaks my voice up a little bit too i rarely even mention about and charged but here i wanted to use the clip genie to go back to my interview with dr pollack himself because even though it was a few years ago i remember that we went from talking about the fourth phase of water to later in the second hour when it got weird he actually volunteered his thoughts on this topic of anti-gravity and levitation when this book was just an idea it makes for a great intro to charge because several of the points he makes are featured in it so let's go and see what he said back then i just wanted to bring up some stuff that is equally you might say way out but questions okay it's not exactly related to water but the question is this will appear in my forthcoming book which has to do with phenomena that we see every day we don't understand like for example what's the nature of gravitation what makes the earth spin or rotate on its own axis what's weather all about what decides if it rains what keeps clouds which are made of little water droplets which want to fall what keeps them up in the sky etc etc things that we see every other day that are almost too obvious to ask how they work so one i just thought of as you were talking to me about way out ideas how do birds fly for example each morning i happen to have a lovely seattle view of lake washington and one of the nearby trees is an eagle's nest and i see the eagles coming out every day at least once twice whatever and they fly and they may flap on occasion but mostly they don't flap at all and i can see them going either down or up or west east north south circling or whatever without flapping their wings so flapping their wings could be a partial answer but it's certainly not a full answer and the question is how do birds stay up it's a question that's almost similar to what keeps frisbees up for so long there are some ideas but most of us we know when we throw frisbees they stay up for a long time but when they stop rotating they sink down right away and fall but the similar principle is how can the birds stay up without flapping and how do the frisbees stay up so to make a long story short i think the answer is electrostatic and first of all the earth has a net negative charge there's a lot of evidence for it it's just that we don't learn it nobody teaches us i started my career in electrical engineering and i would have thought that if everybody knew that the earth was negatively charged then my professor would tell me that you know if you plug the third prong into the wall it's not zero it's negative i never heard such a thing and so when my russian colleague who's in my office just before returning after six months in my lab to russia was talking to me about the earth's electric field i said to andre you must be talking about the magnetic field i never heard of an electric field he said you never heard of it it's impossible in russia every middle school student knows that there's an electric field that field lines run perpendicular to the surface of the earth the earth is the negative terminal the earth is negative and somewhere up there maybe the ionosphere is positive so it's like a capacitor with plus and minus charges separated and a field in between i said andre you're crazy you're nuts and next day one of my students comes to me with richard feinman you know the nobel laureate in physics and many people think it's like the einstein of the second half of the last century he has a whole chapter on it in his lecture notes volume two chapter nine and it talks about the evidence for the earth's electric field and such and the negative earth so it's a fact and so if you'll admit to the negativity of the earth it means that anything in the air that's negatively charged will be repelled from the earth and kept up we've done the calculations and these electrostatic forces are astonishingly large so the question that you're thinking or asking is well how on earth could the birds or flying insects or whatever get charged and there's evidence for the charge it's not something that i'm pulling out of thin air but there is a bona fide well-known mechanism it's called triboelectricity i'm sorry for the long speech but you were looking for exotic phenomena yes and it's interesting because you mentioned frisbees well i've had guests bring up the work of t towns and brown and the idea of rotation and electro gravitics electrostatic type of stuff i mean it kind of speaks to flying saucers i mean i'm i don't know what you think of that but there's a weird technology there's there's a lineage of people who seem to have discovered things like rotation has some kind of anti-gravitic effects kind of like you're talking about with the frisbee maybe it is all related to charge but there also are dozens and dozens of witnesses who have seen ufos or these flying saucers go over lakes and suck up water and then fly away and nobody knows why that is you might not even think flying saucers exist but there seems to be something there and uh maybe there's some weird science to support it somewhere i agree with you let me expand on that a little bit it's always such that if some phenomenon is observed and it can't be explained by the usual physics that everybody knows it's dismissed as nonsense and the people who claim to have seen it are dismissed as crackpots even though i know that in some of these cases that responsible people many people from the same town have seen the same phenomenon which might have been what you say flying saucer maybe not but that's obviously a fact and it's also in the area of consciousness where there are so many interesting experiments done by serious and competent people where information can be sent from one point to another without any obvious mechanism the champion of that would be rupert sheldrake i guess and dean rayton and others they have so many experiments demonstrating it and it it's easy to say all of that is nonsense without actually spending the time needed to look into the experiments and deciding yourself whether it's true in the case of electrogravitics and townsend brown and such i've looked into that a bit and we have in our laboratory what you might call a flying saucer and it works it used to be it's colloquially called a lifter so we know that these things exist we build two different versions and they both work and there used to be a lot of people working with these lifters it was demonstrated to me for the first time by a student living in living in mexico with a colleague who i went to visit in mexico who i think the time was about 11 or 12 years old and was building one of these he showed me and ever since then i was totally intrigued so i know that these devices exist and they work because we have one in our laboratory so yes there's a lot to what you're talking about of course you know governments are interested in this and all the hobbyists who used to build and talk about their lifters have almost all of them vanished from the scene and if you look on the web under lifters you may find one or two people but it dropped out of academia about 50 or 60 years ago when it seemed that it all went dark when various governments began to do research in that area and one can only imagine i have no knowledge of what is going on and how these principles might actually be in use so yes all of these exotic phenomena are quite interesting they are wow thanks for telling us about that i mean i'm really interested in those things basically any exotic energy work that upsets the oil everything control structure kind of has to be handled with kid gloves or they'll get some visits that they aren't going to like but yes dean raden and rupert sheldrake some great previous guests i really like those guys brilliant minds and i feel like i really got to sit at the big kid table today okay maybe when that new book comes out we can do it again down the road sure well it's a date thanks so much for taking the time to talk to me today yeah thank you very much i love it pretty interesting stuff from our conversation back in 2019 birds clouds and frisbees as well as tea towns and brown are all covered in charge but the best way to dive in i think would be to recontextualize what we are told about how the world works versus what observations in nature show us is levitation really that bizarre and exotic well turns out not really and we have this conventional model where we're taught about gravity this blanket term for a force we all experience and we're told about physics using this very over complicated jargon and complex equations and to me it's a lot like economics in the stock market it's made overly complex so the average person doesn't go too deeply into it and just defers to the experts but really what is termed gravity could be better described as just an effect of electrostatic charges playing off each other and should be considered more of an electromagnetic phenomenon and if you always keep in mind what dr pollock said in that clip the earth has a negative charge not a neutral one so you can see that the conditions are baked right into nature for things to be able to play off a negatively charged earth more easily than if it was actually neutral that's the intelligent design stuff i really like but here's a thought experiment from the book that illustrates how powerful electrical charge can be how perfectly balanced the system is and just how little charge you need to have very powerful effects reading from the book he says imagine the following scenario you're lying on the ground with a friend suspended one meter above you the suspension method is irrelevant go ahead and imagine it i'll wait now suppose further that you could remove one percent of the electrons from each of those two bodies eliminating those negative charges leaves you both positively charged how large is that repulsive force state it a different way how much weight would you need to place atop your friend to prevent him or her from being thrust further upward due to that repulsive force well calculated by physics noblest richard fineman the answer beggars the imagination under these stated conditions you'd need the weight of the entire earth so wild and that's just one thing but he goes on to explain that what we experience as wind is actually an effect we feel when there's an electrical differential in the atmosphere and then what about clouds as heavy as they are especially clouds filled with tons of water how do they just float in the air i personally had never thought much about the weight of clouds but it seems to be a bigger clue to how ufos work than i would have thought so again to drive home how much force can be generated by what we think of as small amounts of electrical charge listen to this he writes consider an old-fashioned 120 watt incandescent light bulb operating at 110 volts electrons passing through its filament generate the familiar radiant glow now imagine a minuscule container capable of holding all the electrons passing through that filament during one second that's one column equal to the quantity of charge conveyed in one second by a steady current of one amp concentrating anything to a point is of course impossible but we can ignore such practical problems in this thought experiment now take that tiny container of concentrated charge at a point and set it anywhere on the surface of the earth then repeat this process and place this second cluster of negatively charged electrons one meter above the first then repeat the process and place this second cluster of negatively charged electrons one meter above the first since like charges repel the upper cluster will rise further into the air above to prevent that rise can you guess how much weight you'd have to place atop the upper cluster when i posed this question to an undergraduate class the students who didn't respond with blank stares came up with guesses ranging up to about a kilogram or 2.2 pounds well i calculated the answer initially in newtons since few of us have much experience with that unit of force let me translate it into more familiar units jumbo jets according to my arithmetic it would take some 5000 boeing 747s stacked on top of the upper charged cluster to keep that cluster from rising or if we were to use garbage trucks that's 50 000 trucks stacked on top of each other now i find that so interesting we don't think about that much energy coming from a light bulb in one second but clearly you can get a lot of energy out of small electrical charges we've all played with magnets right nobody's strong enough to hold the repelling magnets together and these are examples that illustrate that point pretty well i actually start to feel like charlie kelly a little bit getting excited about this stuff if you know what i mean what's your favorite hobby uh magnets okay what like making magnets collecting magnets playing with magnets magnets all right and let's jump to why these things aren't included in high school curriculum why these simple observations and understandings about clouds and wind within an electrically charged environment seem curiously withheld we know the academic structure is built to reinforce itself students study a field often presented as a full package of knowledge and then they get careers regurgitating that information forever anyone who truly rocks the boat and says actually this is all wrong we should think about things this other way well they get marginalized and suppressed often attacked and the economics of one's career and the previous investment of education in their field on top of the peer-reviewed process well it all works to keep radical departures from gaining mainstream acceptance of course we know this but you just have to remember these are the conditions in which dr pollack is writing this book and this is the landscape he's trying to navigate and i think he does it quite artfully he also makes a good point that we have heard before but if a scientist makes a discovery that extends outside of their very narrow specific expertise well that's easily dismissed too because we have experts in that field and they'll tell you why you're wrong it truly is a lot of gatekeeping and narrative control masked as the brightest minds fueled by intellectual curiosity objectively exploring reality and also to his credit he does kick it up a notch into not just being structural issues within academia but actually active suppression of this stuff when he gets into t towns and brown and the material about lifters as he mentions in that clip from our previous interview to read from the book again he says if gravitational forces arise as the consequence of the earth's net negative charge then canceling that earthly charge should allow masses to float gravitation should vanish likewise objects acquiring enough net negative charge should defy gravitation by repelling the earth and rising upward testing these predictions would seem straightforward so the question arises why hasn't anyone tried it they have albeit indirectly and with facing inevitable obstacles thus attempts to deal with cancellation of gravity are routinely met with a dismissive suspicion we know in advance that canceling gravity should be impossible hence anything that suggests otherwise smacks of delusional thinking and quickly gets labeled as pseudoscience perhaps this explains why of late few academic physicists have dared to study anti-gravity phenomena seriously nevertheless we do hear about anti-gravity experiments carried out with lifters a typical lifter consists of an ultralight tubular or geometric frame built around a vertical axis a pair of vertically separated conductors run around the frame tightly secured to it connected to those two conductors through long flexible wires a power supply imposes a large potential difference between the conductors when the voltage is cranked up significantly on the order of 10 to 30 kilovolts the assembly lifts floating above the earth it may hover indefinitely or move randomly to and fro in a manner reminiscent of a flying kite when the voltage is turned off the lifter plummets back to the earth somehow the presence of electrical charge creates lift naturally we were prompted to build lifters of our own and two different versions were constructed in our laboratory they rise up rarely failing to impress visitors just as intriguing to watch our web-based videos of other lifters in action at one time gravity canceling devices of this ilk were the object of serious study the well-known engineer and inventor t townsend brown acquired several patents in the 1960s for his electrokinetic devices machines that used electrical fields to levitate such gravitation defined devices are surprisingly common evidently engineless devices can fly hobbyist demonstrators of these lifters are sad remnants of a once active field called electrogravitics a 2008 book by the physicist paul la violette details this field's fascinating history which began almost a century ago and peaked during world war ii paul's account details developments not only by americans but also by germans and russians it cites multiple reports and patents but progress was abruptly terminated with the increasing recognition of the multiple patents secured by the american engineer t townsend brown and the ensuing developments by the u.s navy which at one point reportedly spent as much as five percent of its budget on electrostatic lifting machines the field suddenly went underground that happened in the late 1950s apparently for security reasons since then academic researchers have largely ceased pursuing the subject and accessible developments have come mainly from curious hobbyists where those underground developments have led remains unknown to the public although it's speculated that the b2 stealth bomber gains lift in part from electrogravitic forces meanwhile internet sources decry the entire field of electrogravitics is some sort of hoax or conspiracy theory no doubt the lifters work and if you still harbor any doubts you can easily build a working model yourself a lengthy quote but a good one and it makes me think of the work of john hutchinson now he doesn't mention john hutchinson in the book nor does he mention the term ether i think that's probably strategic because he can just say charge instead of ether and not trigger anybody but when you look at a lot of the john hutchinson experiments he has a wire attached to the hammers and heavy objects bowling balls that he gets to levitate and all the critics said oh look there's a wire attached this is just fishing line camera tricks and the reality is no the wire is attached to deliver the charge when he delivers the charge the bowling ball comes off the table or the wrench flies into the air it's not that he was just pulling on the wire for all those simpletons who think they cracked the case but we can say john hutchinson was legit because we just did that recent interview with andrew johnson and he brought up the actual foyer request where someone went and asked the government about their investigation of john hutchinson and they basically disclosed that the report that they did is real but completely unavailable to anyone but that's really all i needed to know anyway dr pollack mentioned military experiments in that quote but doesn't mention the pillar platform by name though you can find a lot of footage of this out there it certainly looks like it's working in a similar way and given the previous insights into the amount of force generated by slightly altering the charge it seems no problem to carry a person pretty easily now let's get into some of these figures and the discoveries they made in related areas that don't get as much attention as they should we all know tesla but a lot of people don't know victor robinikov now i say robinikov because i heard the g is silent in russian but you'll hear grubinikov it is what it is i've been bringing him up more and more in interviews but dr pollack certainly does him justice in the book let's just play this two and a half minute clip from universe inside you that gives a pretty good summary so everybody can get the gist benikov was a self-taught entomologist from russia his journey into the unknown began with a fascination for the natural world particularly the insect kingdom which he believed held secrets to extraordinary powers including anti-gravity the cornerstone of grabenikov's discovery was the cavity structural effect cse a concept he derived from closely observing the structure of bee nests and the behavior of insects it all started in the early 1980s while grabenikov was camping in the vast siberian steppe while laying on the ground he suddenly experienced an unusual sensation only to find out he was lying atop an underground bee city he experienced headaches ringing ears and a metallic taste in his mouth which sparked his interest in the peculiarities of the natural structures around him delving deeper into this phenomenon grabenikov collected parts of the bee nest and began experimenting he observed an unusual heat emanation from the honeycomb structures a sensation that could not be detected or measured by conventional scientific instruments this observation led him to theorize about the existence of a force field generated by the geometric configuration of the the honeycombs a field capable of influencing the surrounding environment in ways not previously understood by science grabenikov's investigations took a significant turn when he examined the chitin shells of insects under a microscope he discovered an unusually rhythmic extremely ordered structure that seemed to defy gravity when he attempted to place two of these chitin plates together one plate hovered in the air for a few seconds before aligning itself with the other this observation was the first step toward understanding the anti-gravitational properties of certain natural structures convinced of the potential of his discovery grabenikov embarked on a project to harness the cavity structural effect for human use he constructed a platform with thousands of chitin shells attached to its underside creating what he claimed was an anti-gravity vehicle according to grabenikov this vehicle could travel at speeds of up to 1500 kilometers per hour and reach heights of 300 meters off the ground more astonishingly the device supposedly made the rider invisible from below and encased them in a bubble-like force field that nullified inertia and dynamic pressure man when i first saw some of his test footage and heard his story i was pretty blown away we've done interviews about how the bee was venerated in some ancient egyptian secret societies and culture maybe this is partly why people do ask when they get into this material is that why scarab beetles were venerated in ancient egypt what did they know about this when you realize that a lot of the ways these natural understandings can be applied and that it doesn't require an industrialized society necessarily it's fun to wonder how far back in the timeline people might have been playing with these effects and maybe this isn't exactly the same thing but there's no shortage of anthropologists going forth out into the jungles and out into the rural areas and talking to indigenous people and coming back with stories of acoustic levitation this idea that certain groups of people have learned to use drumming and auditory frequency and chanting to move huge stones you can find plenty of diagrams explaining the trajectory and all that and if i had dr pollock here i'd ask him about the possible relationship between electrostatic levitation and acoustic levitation because they seem very adjacent don't you think can you use drums and chanting and sound to actually change the charge of an object hmm ah so i love that rabenikoff story and it only seems so radically far-fetched and mysterious because of our conditioning as to what's possible if a person started out with dr pollock's books as a basis then it wouldn't be so difficult to accept but he adds so many great little examples throughout even saying that we don't have a great explanation for why a bike that moves faster is more stable but if you go into the physics of spinning gyroscopes it could be something similar that rotation generates charge passing through the air and contributes to the bike's stability and these little examples are all over life usually isolated to well this is a specific mechanism that's only applicable to this one thing but the reality is that it's all connected and new fundamental context like that of charged helps explain it all another example is spiders he cites a youtube video in the text and explains why it's relevant i'll just play the short video and read his words over it to see how the spider actually builds its web watch this video at 28 seconds into it the spider latches onto the end of a dangling strand it then releases additional silk drawing that ladder strand sideways and upward since no ladder is present to facilitate the spider must achieve that vertical climb through some kind of levitation force later two minutes and 50 seconds into the video you can witness similar upward movement involved in constructing the web's circumferential strands here some nearby latch points appear to facilitate but upward movement takes place also in regions where those convenient latch points are absent without levitational force web construction might be impossible we also know there's this weird thing about spiders being able to use their silk to float across very far distances what's that about i love all these examples of little things we just don't think about that much and really the hits just keep coming if you aren't convinced yet he goes on to break down weather and clouds and things like mass and charge and water and how a lot of these weather effects work but then he talks a little bit about reich which is worth mentioning here because all this added context helps make sense of the cloudbuster device to read his little reich section he says making serious rain impossible yet ample evidence confirms otherwise envision the sahara turning green with fruits vegetables and trees covering what had once been barren desert it all began with an invention by the legendary wilhelm reich a protege of sigmund freud reich was controversial so much so that the nazis saw it fit to burn his books and when he eventually moved to the u.s this time it was the american authorities who burned his books reich's contributions included the cloudbuster this rain making apparatus consisted of a parallel array of long metallic tubes their rear ends connect electrically to a source of water while their front end points to a region of the sky in said atmospheric region clouds eventually gather followed by rain or so claimed reich along with some of his ardent followers among such followers has been the algerian entrepreneur majid abdallah's his goal using this technology to create an east west green belt running across the sahara desert poverty stricken migrants heading north from central africa to europe would then stop to marvel at this unexpected richness with such abundance greeting them in route why travel further to an uncertain reception in europe migration peters out abdallah's has succeeded beyond expectation bountiful greens now stretch from east to west across much of the algerian desert with plans to extend that belt across the entirety of northern africa creating rain in this way would surely seem implausible if not impossible yet the evidence indicates otherwise man i just love that story because it shows how big a difference one person can make and it also brings me back to you know i'm not a religious person but that idea that we are supposed to be stewards of the earth that's why we're here shepherds of the earth because it's like we are plopped down into a house that was built for us it's pretty nice but it could use a little tweaking over here you could move some pieces over there and the conditions are set for us to do that if we just took the rains we could make abundance everywhere but instead we make concrete and asphalt so i think this gets really interesting when you think about desert landscapes as just lacking charge which can be altered to attract water and then you think about something like the amazon rainforest which is just dripping wet and for some reason biodiversity is more dense there by far than any other place in the planet which alone is an almost mystical quality when you see all the species that emerge that are there and only there and then you consider robert o becker's work and how we are electrical beings more of this charge or this charged environment just seems to cause more life to emerge i wonder if that can be played with somehow but that's for someone else to explore i think maybe that'll be dr pollack's third book but you could also go really weird with it into the occult and the paranormal because what are the devices usually used to detect things they're electrical devices what kind of effects happen when there is a paranormal situation usually electronics and lights tend to go weird and when people experience a paranormal being how is it usually presented it tends to change but despite the broad descriptions and categorization light beans glow tends to be a bit of it go to carrie mullis's account of a electric raccoon that talked to him on the beach could there be life forms that are able to alter their charge and thus appear to us in our reality temporarily look i don't know but these are the sort of wild ideas you should expect around here now getting back to the book there is no shortage of bright minds who connected what we call gravity to electricity to varying degrees he talks about richard fineman a prominent noblest whose work is cited frequently regarding the immense power of electrical charges the like likes like principle and the conceptual difficulty of modern physics michael faraday of faraday cage fame who coined the term electrical field and investigated the possible links between electricity and gravitation nikola tesla he had a dynamic theory of gravity based on electromagnetic phenomena heinous alvarin i hadn't even heard of but a noble laureate who argued for the prevalence of electrical phenomena in space herman polson another one who's new but an interesting one dr pollack writes given the positive charge lying in the air above the negative earth you might expect to be able to hold a wire over your head connect a light bulb between that elevated wire and the ground and light the bulb effectively this has been done using a motor in place of a light bulb in a 1925 patent by herman polson one electrode was lifted by a set of balloons between that elevated electrode and the ground a motor was connected the motor demonstrably ran that observation left little doubt that the atmosphere's positive charge had a substantial vertical extent yeah i guess another tangent not exactly related to airships or zeppelins but it does make me wonder if some of this atmospheric electricity could be at play with them or if we were allowed to reclaim that suppressed technology this new context might make advancements in that suppressed field but there's even more folks that need to be added to this lineage which i think strengthens the overall case that this wasn't missed throughout history and this isn't so radical but victor shawberger we know him but he's a naturalist who observed how trout could remain motionless in strong currents posing a conundrum for standard swimming physics theories and this just came to mind but with fish if you've ever pulled a fish out of the water and kind of put your hands on it it is a little slimy well dr pollack makes a point in the book that's probably gel state water it's a gel state coating on the fish that helps them move through the water very interesting but going back to these insightful intellectuals of the past he also mentions eric lathewaite a british engineering professor who demonstrated that heavy wheels are easier to lift wind spinning suggesting a link between rotation and charge based lift while thornhill and donald d scott prominent figures in the electric universe community then there's erlich warnecke a german scientist who documented how birds and bees carry substantial electrical charge during flight bernard vonnegut a atmospheric scientist who proposed a linkage between tornadoes and electrical charge the previously mentioned rupert sheldrake biologist and author who provided evidence that the universal gravitational constant the big g actually varies over time and then norio ice a professor from kyoto university who studied the attraction between like charged collided particles and let's throw another one in here john kimball who was a physicist professor who authored a book on the complex physics of sailing another area where we see some of this stuff all right so that is a lot of folks and dr pollock does a great job of showing the vast history of people who stumbled on at least parts of the elephant and he just brings them all together and says yeah this is a holistic system and these are some of its effects and let's go back to the clip genie archive and pull out a couple of wall thornhill clips i interviewed him twice and obviously there's going to be some things that are relevant to this conversation just to broaden it out let me hit you with a couple here's another kind of weird question for you out of left field but on the subject of extraterrestrial life i find it kind of interesting that what we think of as conventional ufos these flying saucers that are usually described as rotating around a central compartment now i mean i'm no scientist but it does seem again eerily coincidental that this new paradigm exploring electrogravitic effects and rotation what comes into play in these ufo depictions it almost seems like technology that utilizes the very pieces that are missing from the conventional scientific model yes yes yes if you understand gravity as being an electric uh subatomic electric dipole phenomenon you uh then have to think of ways in which you modify um those dipoles to uh points so that they are repulsive instead of attractive and a rotation is one way to do it because the heavy nucleus in the atoms of course will respond to the rotation by moving in a direction which is not aligned with the gravitational field and this is one of the reasons why gyros do the strange things they do right counterintuitive behavior because you're you're messing with their response to the gravitational effect i would love to see students when given these ideas uh rush off and uh you know tinker in the garage at home and think of ideas because this is one of the aspects of the electric universe that i find very encouraging is that people are doing experiments in their garages to test these ideas you don't need billions of dollars it's actually a pathology of the way science is done today that it's thought that you have to have machines like the lhc large hadron collider to understand matter as i hear so many researchers sort of use the terms electricity and even ether and consciousness in different contexts that all sort of circle around what sounds like they're oftentimes saying the same thing some people use those terms almost interchangeably to a degree well my thought was if irving coined the term plasma to describe ionized gas electrically charged gas i guess is what we could say and found it to seem lifelike it does make me wonder if consciousness and electricity might be the same thing or at least entangled that maybe charging a gas might even cause consciousness to emerge within it what do you think yeah well in the electric universe i'm keen to define my terms terms that are not defined in modern physics and one of the things about the ether is that it is an absolute necessity you cannot have electromagnetic waves traveling through a pure vacuum in other words there's nothing there it seems crazy to me that we even contemplate such a thing when it's known that the vacuum has the characteristics of a dielectric material it is material so the ether is necessary if it is a material medium and it's made up of positive and negative charge smaller ones not the electron and proton we're talking about another level down if you like it's a repeated pattern and this is typical of how the universe operates it has repeated patterns a successful pattern in one dimension one level of existence can be seen in the lower and possibly an upper you know one level up anyway having sorted that out i then realized that matter because it is a resonant system of charged particles if it wasn't resonant they would just fly apart and it wouldn't exist that means all the particles exchange energy between themselves in an orbit like in an atom and the reason the electrons don't just dissipate energy and fall into the nucleus attracted into the positive nucleus is because they exchange energy in real time which means the electric force must operate in real time no speed of light delay instantaneous this means that gravity for instance is an electric force because it operates in real time newton's law doesn't include time or t in the equation all of these things give you some impression that all the things that are considered to be woo woo science like esp remote viewing and so on can be understood in terms of the same kind of signaling that keep the planets in their orbits about the sun only this time at a biological level and this kind of signaling is necessary instantaneous signaling between all similar molecules in the body instantaneously to maintain control of an incredibly complex series of chemical reactions that are taking place all the time in your body there's trillions of things going on at any instant and to maintain coherence and therefore remain alive requires that they all know what's going on throughout the body so you get this mind-body connection is instantaneous and bruce lipton the cellular biologist has shown that the cell walls have receptors now some of those receptors operate on the basis of signals in the blood you know hormones and other triggers which then determine what the cell should do but he said there are receptors that don't seem to be associated with anything in the body inside the body but they seem to receive signals from outside and this comes down then to rupert sheldrake the outstanding biologist who has looked at what's called the morphogenetic field and then you begin to understand that a living system is there's more than meets the eye to a living creature and that is that it has a morphogenetic field it has a pattern which it it's constructed based on a pattern that pre-exists in the ether if you like so life and consciousness and memory according to people like bruce lipton and rupert sheldrake has this other existence at a more what would you call more fundamental level you get a completely different idea of life and death you know life and death this is just an an episode in the life if you like at a more fundamental level and i think people have always had this impression that there is more to life than meets the eye you know there is a higher self a soul or that kind of thing and if this were actually believed and utilized by science we would have a much better health system it would not be an illness system it would be a health system and also people would not have this existential fear of death you know death is a part of life but it's not the end of anything and i think if people felt that and also the universe in my opinion appears to need purpose in other words you were born with a purpose but of course our society our cultures and our education knock that out of us it's only those who are lucky enough to stumble on what their purpose is or it's so strongly in them when they're born that they become a mozart or you know some other amazing genius you know it's inexplicable otherwise so it's not like this information hasn't been stumbled upon by many major figures of science and physics even sometimes winning them awards but it just doesn't shift the paradigm it's also curious that nasa and all the world space agencies have all these successful launches and missions based on a conventional model that is proven to be flawed so regular folks actually when they see these missions they say well they must have it pretty well figured out how could they have successful moon missions with nobody dying and they're just right the first time that is curious indeed isn't it so to see the electrostatic charged atmosphere rotational vortex model explaining birds gliding trout swimming frisbee sailboats insect flight weather effects cloud dynamics bike stability wind movements in the jet stream as well as all sorts of other stuff very impressive no need to invent dark matter or shoehorn in some mathematical placeholder to make the pieces fit it's just good old-fashioned observation to boil it all down earth is a battery as he says energy from the sun separates charges leaving the earth negatively charged in the atmosphere above it positively charged this separation effectively constitutes a battery also interesting but because the sun is involved in this separation process you would expect the nighttime atmosphere to telegraph a few measurable differences and it actually does maybe it makes nighttime more convenient for flying saucers i don't know but a big mechanism in play with several of the examples i listed off is that the air and atmosphere are charged as the diagram shows charged positively but wind passing over any object will induce a negative charge on that object and that negative charge creates levitation which comes into play with colliding birds and paper airplanes and then you add rotation and you get the unique flight characteristics of the frisbee or the flying saucer they've done a pretty good job doing these intellectual backflips and using terms that don't lead one to think about a charged atmosphere we only really hear about wind velocity and loft but loft is another one of those words kind of like gravity that is just a term to use if you don't want to address what's happening with the charge so like i said in the beginning the big value here in this book my copy of charged he sent to me via email so i can't show it but i imagine it's a lot like fourth phase of water just a big old textbook with really rich illustrations in it but it could teach anyone this stuff even me it's a charged physics of everything book it's great for people new to this because like we talked about he does pay homage to the greats and he explains that with the working patents of t towns and brown once this information had a practical application it went dark and became classified and these things happen all the time and because people struggle with the idea that there are big secrets kept outside of the mainstream many just assume that it must have gone nowhere and amounted to nothing because they just can't conclude that something would be hidden and that said if you have any interest in going through even more examples or just recontextualizing your own model and understanding of the world around us or undoing the damage that your parents paid for through taxes or otherwise pick up the book there are so many good diagrams and illustrations it fits so nicely with the electric universe model which is usually focused on things outside of the earthly bubble but it's all simpatico and the electric universe model contends that planets form with hollow cavities inside and thus it must be right right but dr pollack is in the right place the right time to bring this out of the fringe with a book that can be more commonly accepted by a general audience the book has been out almost four months and it's a shame that it's not ranking higher on amazon already though its reviews are all good and i can't help but think that its release was nerfed heavily by dr pollack's inability to promote it i'm sure he had many more interviews scheduled than just ours but i wanted to in a small way contribute to its promotion he can definitely be proud of this work a continuation of his water work in a lot of ways our human terrarium is a holistic system of electricity and water playing off each other from the cosmic level right on down to the human body itself and all the various disconnected disciplines would probably benefit greatly from seeing how connected everything is rather than insisting that everything is compartmentalized and requires high specialization okay so that as they say my friends is that if i knew at 13 i'd be doing book reports for a living at 40 i
